BOARD RULES:

Good grammar - One the most important rules. Good grammar includes using capital letters in front of every sentence and writing I capitalized when referring to yourself.

No 1337 language or txt talk - If you use these, you will most likely be ranked as n00b if you use them. No using these in the forum or C-Box.

No flaming - No flame wars anywhere in this forum because flaming can be hurtful. The starter of the flame war will get a warn, or might be even banned.

No multiple accounts - It is really annoying if you go posting to the same topic with multiple accounts so do not create multiple accounts. Admin can see your ISP number, so don't try to be slick. It makes you look bad.

No double or triple posting - Give other members time to post. If you forgot something from your last post don't create another post for that, that's what the Edit button is for.

Give credit to people that you have taken something from - If you don't, that's stealing and you will get an instant warn from that.

No spamming - Spamming is really annoying so spam only in the Spammers forum. Spamming includes short pointless posts to boost your numbers and posts that make no sense or have no meaning.
Example: "He hit her and went into hyperspace so they couldn't get him." Does that make any sense in this context? No, of course not. That is spam.

Advertising - do so if you plan to be an active member: Don't just join, advertise, and then leave. Our site needs members, too.

Role Play Rules:

: No taking control of another persons character without his/her permission.

: NO GOD MODING!!!!

: No using story format and script format at the same time.

: Be descriptive. Don't make one-sentence posts unless it's extremely nessesary.

: Think of joining a RP as smoking. You might want to quit, but you can't because the admins say so unless the admins/RP maker say(s) that you can. ((Edit by Masq: If you aren't going to be on for a long time or you loose interest, please make an excuse in the RP so we aren't continually waiting for you to move your character.))

:Keep OOC posts to a minimum. It just interrupts the flow of things and makes the game look choppy.

:Please do NOT start multiple Rps and leave them. If you can’t take care of your created Rps, please don’t expect us to. Also, make sure that there is not another RP already made just like yours. We haven’t had too many of these type problems, but they do occur once in a while. If someone has made an RP you wanted to make and it hasn’t been active in a while or at all, post on it and express your interest with a character profile or something. Usually all an old abandoned RP needs is a little bump to get moving again. If the post goes a week without notice, tell an admin and we'll inform you what should be done next.

1) When introducing/announcing/excusing yourself to someone, you do it as though you were meeting someone in Real Life. R-E-S-P-E-C-T and the honor of upholding that virtue is key here on our board. Thank you.

2) When role playing/trying to start in a roleplay, you give people enough information to interact with you and do not jump into the middle of an already busy/very active sequence. Give it time to die down or put yourself in another place.

Example:

There is a huge mecha fight going on! Robattle! Go Autobots! (w/e...)

Player 1: Megatron steps into the ring and doesn't give Metabee any time at all to get ready for his attack before using the Kamehameha wave on him.

Player 2: Metabee dogdes the attack, taking half the damage of a full fledged blow. He then began charging up his Hyper Beam.

Newb: Joey Wheeler jumps up in the middle of the fight and summons Slot Machine. "YEAH! FREE FOR ALL!"

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAAAAAAD!!!!

Correct Example:

Player 1: Megatron steps into the ring and doesn't give Metabee any time at all to get ready for his attack before using the Kamehameha wave on him.

Player 2: Metabee dogdes the attack, taking half the damage of a full fledged blow. He then began charging up his Hyper Beam.

Newb: Joey Wheeler passes by the arena and hearing a fight going on, sits in the bleachers to watch interestedly and decides, after watching the impressive opening moves, he wants to enter the fray.

3) When interacting with characters, be respectful. You don't like it when people walk all over you and it's not acceptable to walk all over everyone else. I don't think I should have to mention that rape scenes are amongst those that are NOT ACCEPTABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
