hi ,
we are just starting the migration process and are doing paper work for hubbys jobs of the past , i didbt realise how in depth it would all have to be .....any advice on visa application requests and how long it should take ? Who is using which agents ? |

Hi Misseykal Welcome to the site. From to start to finish it took us about 9 months on a 136 PR visa. WE put in our visa application in October 06. We got our CO in January 07. We did our police checks and medicals in April 07 (when they were requested. We didn't frontload them) We were granted our visa in June 07. Our agent was Go Matilda. We have no complaints about their service at all. I can highly recommend then to you. I hope everything goes well with your visa process. It can be a long stressful journey but it's all worthwhile when you actually get to OZ :thumbsup: Regards Debs |

Our visa was a while ago now so it would be hard to compare as to what is happening now. We used Thinking Australia and I can highly recommend them, ours wasn't straight forward but I know a lot of people who have done it themselves as well and have made it over here......you just need to be patient with paperwork and the wait as that can be painful at times!
