Yup, livejournal is qualified. ^^ I shall now explain, then you can ask questions~
The basic idea for any TCG is a collecting cards to master decks. To do that, you play games on the site like puzzles and quizzes, and even trade with other members! (Hence the name "trading card game")
Decks usually have 20 cards. (though some TCGs have 10 or 15). And depending on the type of TCG (anime characters, games, movies etc.) there are different decks for different subjects. The goal is to master all your favourite decks.

HERE for an example. These are decks I mastered from a Anime/Manga TCG. Each deck represents a series.

(

"How do I Play?
Simple! You just need two things:
1) A trade post. This is basically a website where you post your cards. You can use a free site, like Freewebs, or you can get hosted. If you want to get hosted, try Clavis-sama. You need a website to post your cards and record how you received them. An example of a trade post is mine.
2) A working email address. This way, you can earn cards through contests, collect level up and mastery rewards, and trade with other members"
Examples of games on a site can be found
HERE if you're curious. And remember, TCGs don't only have to be about anime! There's also Jrock, Jpop, Movies, Television Shows, Disney. The list goes on!
You get random cards and you start building your trade post (site where your cards are shown) and separate them between cards you want to keep/collect and cards you want to trade.
Feel free to go through my site. I think the TCG I've been in the longest will help. It's called Trading Academy. Just click on the links below.

don't worry about the grades or report card. it's a currency thing TCGs come up with for you to get more cards. Each TCG has something different.)
