Season
|
Winter is just around the corner of Point of No Return. Where Jack Frost is nipping at everyone’s noses as the temperature is freezing to where snow and ice are piling on the ground, covering trees, bushes and even homes. Tis the season to put on heavier clothing as wolves are gaining their winter coats to keep them warm.

2.2.10 - The new changes have been put into action. Remember, if you had an active topic it has been moved to the past roleplay boards and you are still able to roleplay them out if wanted. Please take a look at the new plot and also, loners need to start joining packs. With our new system in place, loners are at a higher risk of being caught by the Elegiac. One loner per person is allowed without risk, but anymore and you have a percentage chance of having them be caught. Keep an eye out for any more new things to come around.

Vormor Volcano
The ground is rocky, but smooth. Despite the volcano, the land is pretty safe. A large forest circles around the area, the grassy land ending abruptly to stone. Pups better take caution in coming near here. They could get burned. In the winter it is covered in snow and makes an excelent hill to sled down.

Tanver Meadow
This is a nice open land that is flat as a pancake. A few rocks jut from the ground here and there, a nice place for a wolf to sun themselves. In the winter the snow covers the ground completely. The large stream that splits through the landis usually frozen. One must be careful when walking here in the winter.

Rebori Forest
Caribou tend to hang out here. This is a massively large forest land. Spruces are everywhere, making the woods look like a Winter Wonderland when it snows. This is the heart of Grandiose Retaliation and the wolves of the pack are most commonly seen here.

Najak Clearing
Just a regular flat land with wild grasses and flowers covering it. This is a place of rest and not much else. Najak Clearing used to be on neutral territory, but it has recently been claimed by Grandiose Retaliation. Sometimes on very rare occasions, Caribou will cross through here, but be very patient. The animals are cowards and don't come out into the opening often.

Vesbel River
This is a large, rapid river. Be very careful where you walk, for there are some muddy slopes that might cause you to slide down to your death. Further downstream, the Vesbel River calms down enough for one to swim in. The banks are even close enough to jump across. The river is cradled between a lot of trees and marks where Rebori Forest ends and where Anris Forest begins.

Sessile Plains
Basically, this is a land of rolling hills covered in snow. This is a nice place for pups to hang out and meet each other. Even Elders find themselves safe here. The land is gorgeous and very well protected from any known threats.

Rakish Wilderness
This place is known as the Servile Amnesty hunting grounds. Caribou, deer, lemmings, hares, almost about anything is seen here at some point. Of course not all at once. That would be too easy. This land is rough and ragged and covered with rocks and trees. Take caution of the ice ponds in the winter. The snow covers the ground everywhere, even the ponds. A careless wolf just might fall through on their hunting trip.

Anris Forest
This forest is very peacful and a wonderful place to rest a while. Especially for poor, blind elders. Hares and lemmings are commonly seen here. There are old long used thickets available for shelter from any snow storms and what not.

Gloaming Cliff
This is a land of pure bliss and God-like beauty. The cliffs are a gorgeous faint purple capped with snow in the winter season. A peaceful waterfall shoots down from in between to cliffs into a river that flows through the rest of Pariahdom Omniety and eventually, it leads into Vesbel River that cuts across Servile Amnesty. This land a romantic spot for new lovers to come to and anyone else who enjoys a fine view.

Delimi Meadow
This is the heart of Pariahdom Omneity. This is the land that they call home for all of the wolves. A large meadow with a cool stream and plentiful hares and lemmings. Almost paradise. There is even a large den that fits many, many wolves.

Aubade Forest
There are many fallen trees here, creating a nice place for pups to play hide and seek. Or even new mates for that matter. This is a forest where moss grows everywhere, even on the trees themselves, making them look completely green. When it snows, this greenland has become a place that almost looks like a cloud castle, for everywhere one looks, it is white. This is the hunting ground for the Pariahdom Omneity pack.

Enath Hillside
It is a large meadow that eventually stoops down into a slope that is about thirty-three feet deep. At the bottom of the slope are many patches of purple flowers. At the top, there are a lot of rocks for wolves to lay on or jump over. To the left, there is a large pool of water that is ten feet deep. But in winter it is solid ice.

Plethoric Grounds
The battle ground of Royal Retirbution. This is where many great wars have taken place between the three rivaling packs. The scent of blood is still heavy in the air and even the ground is tinged a slightly red color beneath the snow. It always seems to be darker here than anywhere else. The Plethoric Grounds is surrounded by huge moutains and a canyon. This mountains and canyons are apart of the Nomos Cliffs.

Dragnet Woods
This forest is dark and dangerous. Hunters roam here to hunt for wolves and anything else that breathes and moves. Weapons and traps around laid out everywhere, so every wolf must take caution when coming in here. Nearby is the brutal camp where the hunters sleep about.

Citadel Point
This marks the boundary of Halcyon Salient's border with Pariahdom Omneity. It is a spot in the mountain range that flattens out to form a nice sort of rock clearing. No prey lives here but an occasional bear or mountain lion might be seen. Use caution when exploring alone.

The Camp
Human hunters spend weeks here. Tents are set up everywhere and they almost always have a fire going. Wolves usually avoid this place at all costs. There are horrible auromas in the air such as their burning meat and sweaty bodies. Be very cautious when passing through here. This forest is dark and mysterious, one might loose themsleves to it.

Nomos Cliff
Ragged rocks stick out everywhere. The cliff side is horribly steep and dangerous. Pups should avoid this place at all costs and Adults should only come here if they have to. Prey does lurk here quite a bit, finding secluded hiding places away from their predators.

Kitar Towers
A large tower that sits atop a hill that overlooks a large field. Humans and wolves both seem to fancy to come and gaze at the stars and watch the moon through it's cycles at the top of the tower. It sits on the edges of the city, next to the wilderness so both parties seem to come and go quite often. The past here occasionally haunts an unexpected guest.

Graveyard
Many lost souls lurk here as they have not moved on to the afterlife. Many come here to visit the grave of those who have died whom they were close to. This place is far from cheerful, no one comes here and is happy and if you see someone happy there is most defiantly something wrong with them. The vibe this place gives off is far from good.

Bruneau Sand Dunes
The Bruneau Dunes have formed in the middle of a natural basin, rather than at the edges. The basin acts has acted as a natural trap for over 12,000 years. But no one is worried about the dunes shifting, the winds blowing from the southeast and the northwest balance each other and keep the dunes fairly stable. But the real treat for visitors is that the Bruneau dunes contain the largest single sand dune in North America, with a peak 470 feet above the lakes. The two most prominent dunes cover about 600 acres. And they are open to walkers.

Hospital
The injured and sick go here when needed. Other things such as doctor appointments and check ups are not held here but at an office in the other town. Here they try only to do what is needed and not what would be a good idea. The staff here is heartless and could care less about you as long as they are payed. Not the best place to take a love one, but if you must just watch out.

Aqueous Caves
The entrance to these caves lies in the deep back country of Halcyon Salient. Once inside the place is humid and hot, even in the dead of winter. Many tunnels lead from the main cave and break off into other caverns. This place is easy to get lost in if you don't know your way around and with the heat being so unbearable it could mean bad news.

Alleys
The alley smells like urine and is lined with cinder-block walls, some topped with razor wire that catches stray plastic bags on windy days. Brown weeds hide a strange array of items: a sock, a broken string of cheap, plastic beads. Mysterious mid block detours that seem to offer, in equal doses, the promise of discovery and the slightly scary possibility of getting lost — really lost. This is definitely not the place to be when alone.

Downtown
Downtown is the dynamic, prosperous and vibrant urban center of Austere City. It serves as the government, business, cultural and entertainment center all parts of the area. In total 44,000 people currently work in the downtown corridor. Business services, retail shops, restaurants, theaters, art galleries and event facilities are weaved among office buildings, government institutions, historical buildings, residential units, parking and open space-all combining into a rich vertical and horizontal urban texture.

Lakeview Park
Lakeview Park sits on 44 acres and is Esplanade's oldest park, with mature trees, a pond, an amphitheater, water park and rose garden. Around the turn of the last century, it held Lake Ethel, a man-made irrigation reservoir that was used for swimming, fishing and ice skating.

Phalanstery
All places of residency that the humans reside in. Some shifters may live here as well, but the majority would be human citizens. Here also are parks and schools for those who attend. These are near the outskirts of town, but more closer than them. Making it easier for those with jobs downtown to return home without having to make that long of a trip.

Ice World
Excitement on ice! Public ice skating sessions run daily for all levels of skaters. The twin rink facility features a pro shop and snack bar, and caters to individuals and groups of all types. During the summer, the local hockey team sponsors a kids' summer training camp.

Outskirts
Everything that is on the outside edges of the town. Here are human places but more in a non-city enviornment. Anything that you could want to do that isn't possible in the city you should probably gain access to here, if not perhaps it isn't something that many here in Austere City you can enjoy and therefore never had such a thing set up.

Cydra Swamp
Running north to south is a gentle yet deep and wide river, that forks a little ways downstream. Around this fork is a series of branching creeks, which eventually soak into the mud, forming a wide hostile marshland, complete with mud, small pools of quick sand, muck, grime, goo, creepy big bugs, long hissing snakes etc.... However, the northeast chunk of the marshland merges into a peaceful clearing.

Semiamoh Mall
The best shopping mall around! You will find many hip and popular clothing stores. You will also find shoe stores, hair salons, nail salons, food court, movie and CD store, home deco, pet stores, beauty stores, jewelery stores, and some random stores with spontaneous items. There is two floors, and a lounge in the middle of each floor with comfy seats, tvs, and really just a place to rest and visit. Now, shop till you drop!

The Beach
This is simply a place to relax and soak up the sun. However, in the winter snow covers the sand and there a few ice burgs drifting in and our off of the coast line. The land is closed during that time. It is a great place to go for a day to have some fun.

Reel Theater
The Reel Theater plays the newest movies when the first come out. A popular place for entertainment to take place, those of all ages come here at many different times. The theater functions from nine in the morning until eleven at night.

Eastwick Boardwalk
This Eastwick Boardwalk helps one navigate from the beach to the restraunts and lounges above on solid ground. It also keeps a person from burning their feet in the sand on hot days. It has a lovely view of the ocean and there is a secret underground dance club underneath the boardwalk.

Roughinite Rocks
This is the ragged, rocky side of the beach. Large, reddish brown rocks line the shore where little fish and crabs . The waves crash roughly against the stones, making it a safety hazard to go out there alone. When the rocks are covered in snow it makes it very slippery.

Effrontery Bay
Here Vesebel River pours out into the ocean. There are a few small beaches but most of the water's edge consists of rock. Many of the marine wildlife can be seen here and fish are of the plenty if you like that sort of thing.

Main Office
Here the new terror of the towns lies, their main office looks nice to try and not scare away possible recruits. They keep here for the most part as most of the group calls this their home. Living quarters are inside this rather large building as well as all the different labs and holding places for their captives. The leader of this group has a lot on his hands to look after and make sure everything is according to plan.

Living Quaters
While some members of the Elegiac live off base for those who don't there is a rather large arrangement of living spaces available. For any one who is apart of the Elegiac they are welcome to get their own little "space" without complications.

Lab
Here the members of Elegiac test on their subjects that have been brought in. Either to get some information by using their body or by getting information from them by torture and force. Either way, this is the place that it is done. Also experimentals are placed in the back of the lab to be kept away from all the other captives.

The Kennels
Here is where any and all of their captives are held. There are three different buildings for the three different "breeds". One building is designed for just wolves, the second is just humans, and the third is for the shifters. Each has its own special alarm and security system. It is hard to break in, or break out from here.
