Am I the only one who checks this place anymore? Or what? Anybody there?

Not quite, now that I'm moved in, I'll be on-line a bit more.

BTW, Monster Hunter 3 has been announced for the PS3.

That's great, but I guess the question is: Will we even get it?

Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP) comes out here in about two weeks (May 28th I think).

Monster Hunter 2 should make it here around November if it is brought over(just my estimate) and Monster Hunter 3 will likely be for 2007.

Also, MH 3 on the PS3 will be import friendly seeing as like the PSP, the PS3 with have region free games(the only thing that stopped me from importing MH Freedom was the announcement of the US version coming out.)

Also, for those that haven't heard, MH 2 has several sweet new weapons and monsters, including a bow and arrow, and a giant pink farting ape and a giant hermit crab that wears a Monoblos skull as a shell.

Monster Hunter Freedom is essentially MH G++ with all the on-line content available off-line(finally!)
