This is a new manga that's very strange.

First it has awesome artwork, story and setting.

Second, it premiered in the US

Third, only the first volume is out, but it even has an anime trailer for it.

Anyways, here is some of the poetry that appears in the first Volume:



Pale Bird's Poem

Sadness knows my name.

Sorrow is proof that I have been given life.
And life offers a chance to find Love, in all of its myriad forms.

For the Love we find is what frees us from sorrow.

Life is filled with little prayers

A journey in search of love. . .

. . . and a reason for our existance . . .



Sakis's Poem

I exist.

Neither as a shield, nor as a weapon of war.

I will be the sword to slice away all of your sadness.

I must not be afraid.

I must not fear.

Thought the Gods that sleep within me, should enguld me in flames.

I will never let you see me tremble in fear.

Li Yin's Poem

People hurt each other, but sometimes they save each other.

I came as a God.

Killing people,
they hurt me.

But you will save me...

Perhaps my beloved blue-haired one can unlock the chains around my heart.

For my beloved found the sanctuary within that no-one could see.

The voice of the one I love was all I could hear as I lay broken in the darkness.
My own voice faltered. My wings no longer had the strength to fly.

But if those beautiful blue eyes were to gaze upon me, they would see all my sins are forgiven.

If the comforting hands of the one I love were to reach down and close my eyes.
I would feel such warmth and happiness that I could leave for the land of eternity.

If those fingers were to touch these tears

. . . and know my fate . . .
