this went rather well, we have a few people show up early, and we had a lot of new members, most of them being artists, which solved the problem that had been plaguing us from the beginning, lack of artists. The storywriters also solved one of the very contested arguments in the forum about the mecha, you can read more about it in the actual thread. Although we did reach a consensus, its yet to be written out and its a bit hard to explain here. This is something that needs to be done my Kevin anyhow.

As for the story, we reviewed what needs to be done, and planned ahead with the newer chapters. The older ones were fixed up and we could finally move on to some of the meat in the plot as a whole. Chp 2.5 needs to be worked on with Luke's story, Chp 3 is done once we edit a few words or so, 4 is being worked on and planned out, its become larger than originally thought, chp 7 is 99% done, and we just opened up chapter 8 with its main story planned out.

The art was a definite improvement over last year, with lots of new talent and more work from the older members. Since this was the first meeting and the newbies still have to get a grasp as to what is going on, I think it will be hard to tell them which parts to draw and whatnot, so its being saved until later. whats also important is the discussions on how to draw the manga, which styles, where, and when for each artist.
