I recently purchased my second car from a friend of mine, a 1994 coupe. It needs some TLC as he thought he was a racing driver and abused the poor thing.

I picked the car up it has hardnesses and bbs RS's on it. Most pleased!

It is also already lowered 60/40 I believe, but has scope to be lowered a bit more... However the wheels scrub awfully at the moment, so arch rolling and pulling is required!

When I picked it up!

It has an old shirt duct taped over the air intake, so that was quickly changed as it cannot of been doing the car any justice, this one sounds a lot more meaty.

Here is a picture of the harnesses... Not sure if I like them. But they hold me in nicely until i source some seatbelts.

Next I popped a bonnet bra on there... Because why not. ;p

Yesterday it was nice and sunny and I had the day to myself.

Figured I'd make a start on cleaning the engine bay as it probably hadn't been cleaned over 18 years...

Got about 60% of it done, still a lot of work to do...

Got hold of some bose 3.5 inch speakers for the dashboard, and some custom made holes in the footwell. Bringing some sound into the car as it had none in it at all! It was awful driving around with no option to listen to anything...

But after a few hours of tinkering I got it all wired up successfully!

I've made the aux cable look a lit tidier too... Otherwise it would keep getting tangled in the gear stick... Not so much fun. drive1.gif

Currently wait on pay day and the new additions shall be going in ASAP. wink.gif

Was baby sitting for some family friends last night... When they were leaving, they reversed into my car.

Fortunately they're paying for the repair. smile.gif

Been a busy weekend! Sort of...

Went to my girlfriends and the exhaust fell off, oh joy! (no pics!) managed to get it back up with a little help from the lady in Tesco... wink.gif She had some rope handy...

Then on the Sunday I started making the boards to panel out the back of the car! Will be more useful to store stuff in smile.gif

And I have just ordered some GT clocks with the rev meter! rarely come up on ebay!

Okay time for a big update... However several beers have been consumed! So forgive me...

So the new gt40 clocks that I ordered arrived, so that I can swap them over. Overall it was a success, however took me quite a while to get them out in the first place!

Finally got the cow print finished... Sort of, need to get the flooring sorted. But not sure how to go about it... Anyone have any suggestions?

Then decided to respray my bumpers and trims.

Looks much nicer. smile.gif
