We are not necessarily playing the plots of this board along with the show - mainly because we have been without the majority of the show's main cast since the original inception at another board. However, that is not to say that it would be out of place to play show story lines, so feel free to go with the show, or branch out and do something totally different. This board accepts pretty much anything.

Caleb needed to get rid of some pent up agression and instead of letting his anger get the best of him like it had been lately. He decided to go do what he would normally had done back in California. Caleb walked into the empty gym and picked up a ball. He started to dribble it a little bit and then started shooting hoops from the half court line.
Caleb heard a door open and then shut with a loud bang. He turned around seeing Miss Gatina with a gym bag over her shoulder. Caleb held the ball in his hands and said, "Well...I see your back from your weekend getaway...how was it? Go to any interesting weddings?" Maybe that was a bitter question, but he was curious about his sister's wedding...he only wondered if Rachel would give him any details or not.

Rachel winced slightly as the door closed behind her with a small bang. There was a part of her that was quite certain she was still hungover from the events of her weekend. But that slight hangover feeling that remained was worth it. She'd had fun, and when it came down to it that was all that truly mattered, wasn't it? Her gaze moved up when she heard a somewhat familiar voice and a smirk came to her lips. Rachel shifted the bag she had over her shoulder as she took a few steps towards Caleb. "My weekend was quite an eventful one." She said, tilting her head slightly as she looked at him. "And I might have gone to a wedding. One that didn't end in me causing a limo to go off a bridge." She was going to be broad with the details she shared about the wedding. This was Caleb she was talking to right now after all.

Caleb held the ball under his arm and smirked at her, "Eventful...I can definitely see that you're still nursing a hangover huh? You seem to have the hangover look. Was it that bad you had to drink your way through it." Caleb had to be sinister everyone knew him to be that way might as well live up to it right?
Caleb cracked a little laugh after hearing the limo joke and then made a shock expression and gasped, "Oh my you did? That must have been hard...but I bet the wedding couple couldn't afford a limo lucky them right?" Caleb smirked at her in a smart ass way. "Or maybe it was the groom that took off in the limo because she just wasn't ready for marriage right? That was probably it."

Rachel tilted her head as she looked towards Caleb, pondering the best way to word what she wanted to say. "If you want to believe that was why I had to drink, I'll let you." She replied with a smirk. "But, in all honesty it was a great wedding. Your sister looked beautiful. And the groom was hot. Such a shame you weren't invited." It probably wasn't the best of things to say to Caleb, but Rachel wasn't in a very caring mood right now.
She listened as Caleb went on, and couldn't help but mentally note that he might just be angry about not being invited to his sister's wedding. Not that she really blamed the guy. But, had he really deserved to be invited? Probably not. "Aww, I'm sure you really wish that had been the case. But it wasn't. Bride and Groom left happily together after the ceremony was done. And you and I know exactly what they left to do." Was she trying to push Caleb's buttons? Probably.

The words that he wasn't invited stung him bad, but that was something he wouldn't ever share. Caleb pressed his lips together and then coldly stated, "I could have went if I wanted too ya know...but I didn't care to go." It was true he could have crashed it, but the real truth to why he didn't was because of Sarah...he promised her and he could not bring himself to break it to her.
So they had gotten married nothing happened to where they wouldn't. Caleb knew their father was somewhere out there and I guess he wasn't smart enough to find where Narissa was. Caleb said, "Well that's good the happy couple can have a perfect wedding with no problems to fit into their perfect life. But ya know life's not perfect and it won't be perfect for them forever. I know life isn't perfect and I know you know life isn't perfect." True Caleb was fishing for more information of the happy event. Yet, he knew that he could push Rachel's buttons just a bit.

"You could have? Then why didn't you?" Rachel asked with a raised eyebrow. She was really curious about why he hadn't actually shown up uninvited, because she had been kind of expecting it. "Weren't you at least a little curious about your own sister's wedding?" She asked the question, but Rachel got the feeling that she already knew the actual answer. Caleb had been curious, still was. Otherwise he wouldn't have started asking her questions so subtly about it.
Rachel crossed her arms at her chest as she listened to Caleb go on. She kept quiet about how the ceremony had ended. Why let Caleb know that there had been a small bit of drama? It didn't really matter. "You know you sound kind of bitter Caleb." Rachel mused with a smirk. "And, yeah, I know life isn't perfect. If it was, well, let's just say a lot of the things that have happened in my life wouldn't of." She shrugged.

Caleb shot her a dangerous expression when she pressed on why he wasn't there. Caleb pressed his lips together and tried to swallow back the big knot that was holding in the back of his throat. Caleb finally licked his lips while taking a deep breath before answering, "Yeah well I could have went is meaning I didn't want to be there...no sense in being where I'm not wanted right." Caleb didn't want to give her the honest reason everyone thought of him as a badass why break it and say he stayed away because he was asked too...that would seem less of a badass or so he had thought.
Caleb continued to eye her as she called him bitter and stated, "Well you're the one that would know what bitter looks like right Miss Gatina...at least that's what I've heard around school." Caleb smirked at her. He had to gain the upper hand otherwise he would start looking as vulnerable as he was feeling and that was some place he did not want to be.

The look Caleb sent her was not lost on the redhead. It made her smirk a little. She tilted her head as he spoke, her arms still crossed at her chest as she listened. "Here I was thinking not being wanted would have fuled your desire to go even more." She couldn't help but muse. Wasn't that usually the case? People did what the shouldn't and they wanted what they couldn't have. It was why Rachel did half of the things she did. When someone told her no, it made her want to do it even more. Sure, it got her into trouble sometimes, but she didn't really care.
Rachel raised an eyebrow at what he said next. She was pretty sure she knew what was going on. He was trying to get to her. And sure he was a little, but she wasn't going to let him know that. It'd give him too much power, at least that was how the redhead saw it. "Enlighten me Mr. Chasez, what exactly have you heard around the school?" There were a lot of things that could make Rachel bitter, and she could hold a grudge for a long time. "I'm not stupid Caleb, I know the game you're trying to play right now, 'cause I've played it many times before." Getting the upper hand was important- it always was.

Caleb should have known she wasn't going to give it up. If the shoe was on the other foot he couldn't say that he wouldn't do the same. Caleb pressed his lips together and stated, "Ya know normally it would have been, but the person that asked me not to go is someone I respect and I couldn't let them down." There Caleb told her the truth and that was the most honest he's been with someone that didn't know him.
Caleb watched her and she was right he was trying to play the cards back on her. Trying to toy with her instead them focusing on him. Yet, he should have known better. They were just both the same with the exception of genders and she would probably never resort to violence. Caleb took a deep breath and smirked, "Oh I'm sure you know what has been said about you being bitter about a certain Uncle of Nathan's" Caleb crossed his arms across his chest and smirked at her. She had to feel a sting of hurt like he was feeling he was close to barring it all right now and he didn't want to be the only one to bare all.

Rachel tilted her head to the side slightly as she looked at Caleb. She smirked and shook her head. "I still find it hard to believe that you would listen to someone elses request." Rachel knew not to judge a book buy it's cover, and she knew that you shouldn't judge people because of their prior actions. She was often the one being judged, not that she blamed people for jumping to the conclusions that they did. Rachel tended to fall right into those judgements. But, still, it surprised her to hear that Caleb had decided to listen to someone else.
She stiffened at Caleb's next words. She had known they were coming, but still. The redhead was pretty sure that no matter how much time had passed, Cooper would always be a sore subject for her. When she'd started things with Cooper she'd lied and had thought it would be just fun. Only it wasn't. She'd fallen for him and in the end got her heartbroken, and nearly died. But the whole limo going over a bridge thing was an accident- caused by her but that wasn't the point. "And this is high school, a lot of things that get spread around the halls shouldn't be listened to." Rachel stated. She was pretty sure though that a lot of what was being said was in fact true.

Caleb sighed noticing she wasn't giving into this all and it was beginning to frustrate her. Caleb took a deep breath and then stated, "Fine you want to know the truth of it her name is Sarah I dated her back in California and she was the only girl that really got me. She was the only girl I couldn't bull shit too because she saw through it all. Her and I go back a ways and I wanted to show up at the wedding, but she asked me not too...and so I didn't...I've done enough to hurt my sister and I didn't want to wreck the day for her." Caleb stopped there knowing he was crossing into a very dangerous spot of becoming vulnerable in front of Rachel.
Caleb at Rachel and knew that she was voiding his answer. Caleb remarked, "Yeah well one thing I know is that when someone is voiding a subject it usually has some truth to it." Caleb knew that Rachel couldn't avoid that especially since he was just doing the same thing to her before breaking it down and baring it all.

Caleb's words surprised Rachel. She hadn't really expected him to tell her the truth. No, she had thought he was going to walk away or roll his eyes at her and tell her it was none of her damn business. Why? Because that was what she would have done. And, Caleb seemed a lot like her when it came down to a lot of things. Rachel shook her head as she looked at him. "Very nobel of you Caleb. I didn't think you had it in you." It wasn't like she was going to tell anyone about this conversation, not like they'd believe her if she told them Caleb hadn't crashed the wedding because Sarah had asked him not to.
She sighed as he went on. Cooper was still a sore subject for her. She had let herself fall fro him, and she hadn't meant to. She'd set herself up to get knocked down. And in the process of trying to forget, she ended up sleeping with Nathan. Her life was just one big soap opera. "Look, things between Cooper and I are done. Over with, and I've moved on. There's no point on dwelling on it. People can say whatever crap they want, just don't believe everything you're hearing." Rumors were a part of high school, and well just life in general. Though, Rachel knew some of the things beign said weren't rumors at all.
