With all that's going on in the world, today, I figured we should have an RPG set in the middle east. Here's the deal, a group of Coalition (you choose your nationality) soldiers is dropped secretly into the mountains of Pakistan (where they're not supposed to be), with orders to hunt down and capture Osama bin Laden. If you don't want to be coalition, you can be a Muslim militant trying to protect Osama. These characters can also be added by RPGers as NPCs.

Coalition loses if they're all killed or captured, they win if they kill Osama bin-laden
Militants win if they kill or capture all the coaltion troops, lose if Osama dies.

For coalition forces, here are the options:



Rank: Captain, sergeant, corporal, private
Weapon: M-16, M4-A1, .50 cal. sniper with sidearm
Nationality: Must be a citizen of a country in the coalition, but may hail from any nation you want.
Every soldier starts off with a pair of binoculars, and rations for two weeks


For Muslim militants:
Rank: rifleman, suicide bomber, militia leader.
Weapon:Ak-47, RPG (rocket propelled grenade), bombs (roadside or vest)
Nationality: Any middle eastern or North African country

Even if Canadian isn't coalition, we'll say it is, seeing as we have a lot of Canadians here, for some reason :huh:

"Damn it! Well, Tran, looks like we're the only ones who made it. Better look through the bodies for any spare ammo."

*gathers 10 more M4 clips*

*Finds ammo*

"O.k, i'm good..."

*pulls out map*

"Ok, we're just north of the Gulf. According to the orders, bin Laden is most likely hiding somewhere around 1000 kilometers North-northwest of here. An informant is supposed to meet us just outside of a town called Khairpur with more information."

"Sir, the Americans botched the jump. They do not appear to realize our part in it."

"Good. Keep an eye on them will you Fayed?"

"Of course."

*Scans through sniper scope*

"No tangos."

"Alright, you wanna grab some more food before we go? These poor bastards aren't gonna need the rations?"

*grabs some more food and starts across the sand dunes*

"Scan again every hundred yards for ragheads."

OOC: I really don't call them ragheads.

"I guess so, let's collect their tags too..."

*Starts to collect*

*Dives for cover as ak-47 rounds hit the sand all around him*

"DAMMNIT! HIT THE DIRT! RETURN FIRE!"

*Fires M4 at group of 5 militants on the dunes, forcing them to duck below the dune*

*Snipes*

"Tango down...and another one..."

*Panicked Arabic voices growing distant*

"I think they're retreating, probably think there are more of us. You hurt?"

"No, you?"

"One of 'em grazed my earlobe, but other than that, I'm good. Let's get going before they come back."

*runs in the opposite direction of terrorists*

*Picks up a clip, than runs*

*several days later, outside Khairpur*

"OK, the informant will be here tomorrow. Let's find a defendable position around here."

"How bout that building?"

"alright, let's move to the basement. Make sure you aren't seen."

*Quietly Slips inside*

"Okay, now what?"

"Now we wait until 1500 tomorrow . Look around for a second exit, in case we have to make a break for it. I'll set up some sort of sleeping arrangement in the corner."

"Okay, i'll keep first watch."

*Unslings rifle*

"Alright. You find another exit point? Here, use my M4. That sniper rifle won't do much good in close quarters like this.

"Nah, you keep it, sir. I'm good with my Glock..."

*Scans*

"Hamri, our scout team just reported back. They say the infidels are hiding in a house in Khairpur. Should I send some men up there?"

"No, tell Ahmed to keep watching. Tell them to make sure the Americans don't know they have a tail. Let's see where this goes, I want to know what the Americans are doing here."

"Hey, do you think that the terriosts think were all americans?, cap'n?"

*Keeps scanning*

"Most likely. Why?"

"I dunno, why do you guys get all the credit?"

*Laughs*

"Credit? Ha! Apparently, all we do is kill civilians and puppies. That's what the news says, anyway."

"Naw, you guys are generally good, i know..."

*Keeps looking*

"Huh?"

"What is it? What do you see?"

*shoulders M4*

"I thought i saw some movement..."

*Looks through scope*

"Probably just a rat. I saw a couple of 'em on my way in. Huge mothers. It's my watch now, anyway. Get some sleep."

"Okay, Cap..."

*Goes to sleep*

Meanwhile . . .

"Damn rats!"

Ahmed clubs a rat to death.

*starts to snore*

Ahmed clubs at rats. His scout partner motions for him to stop.

"Shh, I hear something!"

They hear a loud, wet noise.

"Jeez, that American sure can snore. Pfft, infidels."

*Wakes up*

"Huh? did you hear that?"

*Takes out pistol*

"Down! He woke up."
