Oh good! God knows what Manning would do if Sorgi wasn’t there to carry his clipboard and fetch his Gatorade.

This pisses me off! With all do respect to our Maytag Man……….he SUCKS!!

IF Peyton goes down. The Colts go with him!

Sorgi can’t carry his weight in preseason games let alone meaning full games.

When will the Colts Brass understand that Manning is not indestructible, and take the necessary steps to get, at the very least a mediocre back up?

If you happen to hear a loud popping sound coming from the Colts front office, it will mean Jimbo is history. And the sound you here is Polien’s head coming out of his A$$!

You know, it's funny you should say that ... because I had the weirdest thought today while I was at the Florida Gators Orange & Blue game.

IF Chris Leak goes in the first round (and I don't think he will), maybe he'd go to the Colts.

As a Gators fan, that would thoroughly piss me off because it would mean that I'd actually have to respect the Colts for doing something smart. But I could see it happening.

Chris Leak, while not the most athletically gifted guy available in the draft, does have a couple of things going for him that some other stud QBs don't. These are things that I could see the Colts being interested in.

First and foremost is leadership skills. However you feel about the Gators, you can't deny that Leak led them to the SEC and national championships. He had plenty of help from his gifted teammates, but he was the de facto leader of the team. And he's a leader off the field too, enough that he's received awards for it.

Second ... well, there's those championships. Peyton Manning's not the only QB who's ever had a monkey on his back. Leak has as well. And he managed to shake them off in his senior year with his championships. And if you saw the national championship game, you know that when it's crunch time, Leak can get the job done.

Take what he's already done, add a Super Bowl-winning starter to the mix to help develop him, and you just might have another Super Bowl-winning QB on your team.

OK, so I've ventured in the world of fiction, but stranger things have happened in real life.

If the Colts picked Chris Leak before Round 6, I would probably shoot myself. Leak does have the mind to be a good NFL QB as well as the touch / accuracy, but he has the issues with height, strength, mobility, clutch performances, ability to pick up a playbook at first, etc. He's a mature young man, but I don't see any way he goes Day One.
