High on a dark, mountain lies the Temple of Death. The stair way is bare and empty, statues of demons and devils are lined up as the large stair way makes its way up to the temple. The trees are all dark, lacking even a last strand of life. As a higher elevation is reached snow dusts the trees and the ground. The sky, always dark and cold, never changing. As the staircase comes to a stop, the ground levels out, revealing the enterance of the Temple. Statues on each side of the stair way stands protectively, they are of the Goddess of Death. Past the statues, it decends with a smaller stair case leading down into the volcano and the Goddess of Death's lair.

After the destruction of the temple many years ago, the temple was rebuilt with a more defensive layout. It is still placed within the middle of a scorched and deceased forest; the ground and dead trees blackened from the many fires that scorched them. A large iron gate surrounds the temple with large brick posts. On top of each of the brick pillars is a large flame. Surprisingly, the brick still retains it's reddish color. There is a courtyard with a stone fountain, which is cracked and dry, that must be crossed before reaching the main doors to the temple. The bricks used as flooring are not leveled, leaving it hazardous and tough to run or fight on.

If one were to describe the newly designed temple, it might be said that it is like a maze. Inside the temple, the walls are blackened by the thick layer of ash. The main chamber is large and empty, but from that room, many halls branch off. Most of the halls don't even lead anywhere. One of the main rooms in the temple is the library. There are tons and tons of books here, the majority of them are history documents and magic spells. However, the entrance to the temple's weapon room is through the library, but it is sealed off to keep people from stealing the any of the different weapons inside.

Lyra's bedroom is located directly in the center of the temple. There isn't a whole lot in there, but the majority of Lyra's day is spent in there. The bed is a four-post canopy bed with a sheer, dark red fabric hanging from the top rails.

There are many other rooms in the temple, some of which no one ever set foot in.

A small White stone chapel found in a small opening in a forest moss and vines cover the chapel, it looks like it has not been used for centurys if not milleniums, a small stream flows near it all forms of water life can be seen the woods full of life birds animals tree's and plants a place of total tranquility but a small darkness hangs in the air.
As you enter the temple things are not what they appear for withing the small chapel you enter the doorway you find yourself at the entrance, you look around finding it as big as a cathedral, and this is only the hallway, many statues and stained glass windows decorate the temple many doors lead to many rooms within the temple lays many secrets including the purpose of life.

The legend stated that there was a temple shrouded in the darkness. The Legend spoke of Kokuei no Bonsatsu, The Temple of Dark Shadows, located deep in the Jiankan Forest. Kokuei no Bonsatsu is covered in the vines of a Black Rose bush that grows all along the land.. the vines even cover the entrance, no one can enter without being admitted by the keeper of the temple, Kurogami no Megami, Goddess of Darkness, Lady Nanashi Iyoki. The walls are hidden the the shadows and no one can see them. The Temple looks like a Japanese Shrine, but of red, black, and gold.

+ Temple of Time
In a void, outside of time exists an ocean of time immortal. Above this ocean sits a great temple of ivory and gold looking ominously over the fluid motion of time. Atop this temple sits the great hourglass of brass that slowly counts away what is left of one existence and the time till the beginning of another. This temple ruled by the eight winged god, Seraph, this temple stores all knowledge and shows all life. This is the Temple of Time.
