 WELCOME
to Mystifying Madness
________
The Gods have moved from the physical world into the world of their own but at what cost for the mortals? The creatures of the world are left to their own ways, the ways of desperation and uncertainty.. the path that leads to violence and war.
Will the Gods return from their lands to save what they left behind so easily? Or will they turn a blind eye and let chaos consume their subjects?
Will the mortals learn to stop their ways before it is too late? Or will war tear through them all? -------
What side will you take?

A man clad in silver chains and pentagrams his hair of pure silver and his skin pale walks into the Inn. He tilts his head to the side slightly before moving to sit at a table in the corner where the shadows all seem to have gathered suddenly. All that can be seen of this mans face is his quiet and distant expression while his sunglasses and hair hide his eyes from sight. The man takes his seat in the shadows carefully setting a small bag that looks to be of royal fabrics and leathers on the part of the table that isn't hidden from the light. Within a few seconds a maid goes over to the table and vanishes into the shadows.

These are my calling cards Pain and Anguish I am the darkness in the light that brings death on its wings as the trumpets sound.
I am war.

Rose thought about everything Grim was saying. He was right, no one knew the girl I had become. I always waited until the moon was bright in the sky to go out of my house. I hid in the shadows my whole life. I would only feed my thirst when the victims were deep in their sleep. She thought of how she never had anyone, so she would do anything to keep Grim.
"I am not afraid Grim, not at all."
She brushed the hair away from her pale cold skinned face and continued to tell him....
" I know when you knew me, I was a weak human, but trust me Grim, I had nothing to do, so I trained, taught myself the art of combat. I trained so long and so hard. Grim I am strong, I have the powers of a vampire, plus I am a master at hand-to-hand combat. Take me with you Grim. I am not afraid of this Alastor you speak of."
She looked down, with a deep sad look on her face.
"I can't bare to lose you again."
Those words could barely come out, as she was so choked up.

The waitress that had vanished into the shadows a while ago steps forward into the light as the table is pulled away. She looks first at Grim then Valac her eyes seemingly either glazed over from boredom or just plain death it is hard to tell which. She turns her attention to Grim and in a language that seems to resonate through his entire body and mind making him realize it is old demonic she is speaking and not just recently old but centuries old.
"What business do you have with this gentleman I suggest you take elsewhere..."
Loki stirs in the shadows letting his sunglasses slide down enough to where he could look through his bangs at the two men before him. He looks each of them over a couple of times before sliding his glasses back up under his hair to cover his eyes. Loki lets his body meld with the shadows allowing him to seep through the chair he had been seated in and rematerialize against the wall his body already starting to move with such small movements that not even a vampire's eye could tell if he was moving or not.
