Here are the rules for my site.

Rules:

1.) This site is rated G. There may be mild violence, but dont describe
it, NO GORE, there will be NO offensive language, or sexual content... To give you more examples: imagine you have a child (for kids, imagine you have a little brother/sister in kindergarden, Your posts should be suitable for them) in kindergarden, Theres a HP RPG site they play at, the posts should be suitable for them. Also, when advertising on my site for another site, please be sure the site you are advertising is Rated G as well...or it will be removed/deleted.

2.) There will be no Cannon Characters! Sorry...but I have discussed this with my other admins, and they have agreed that since others have ruined it, and can't seem to stay active, when they have a Cannon character, then we have decided to do away with the Cannons.

3.) No Godmoding! Godmoding is where you try controlling another person's character on what that character thinks, will do, or does. No try killing off another person's character either, unless that person has given permission and the plot has been cleared by me personally.
Also, no one is a god or goddess here, which means no one is invincible.

4.) Please use a spell checker on your posts: Spellcheck.net is a good one to use. Also I have a Dictionary and Thesaurus located under the Smilies box. Feel free to use that if you choose.

5.) All posts must be in third person, NO EXCEPTION! And please use a spell checker as I stated above. This makes the posts easier to read. All posts must be more than two sentences. If you have trouble thinking of what to say, try describing the room or the area you are in.

EXAMPLE OF GOOD POST: Jenara walked into the Great Hall, taking time to admire the ceiling, which was made to depict the night sky. She had heard of the magical ceiling from her brothers, but never imagined how beautiful that it looked in person.

As she strolled along beside the house tables, she noticed that the staff of the school sat at a table up on a raised dais, in front of the house tables. She gave the staf a smile as she took her place at the Ravenclaw table.

EXAMPLE OF BAD POST: Jenara walked in and took her place at her table.

6.) Please be respectable to all staff, they are here to help.

7.) All members who have wands will go to Ollivandars, and fill in their information on their wands.

8.) All owls (pets) needs to be registered in the Owlery. All other pets will need to be registered with the Care of Magical Creatures Professor. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is so we can keep track of who has what pet and their pet's names.

9.) All new members will need to fill out a character application to be accepted. Then for those who want to be adult characters will fill out a second application. Students will fill out the same character application, then go to the Sorting Hat.

10.) All Professors will be responsible for their class schedules as well as their class assignments and tests. All students are required to sign up for classes and participate in classes.

11.) All members must be active, if you don't plan on being active, then please do not register. If you plan to be away, please announce it in the Announcement topic.

12.) Members will be allowd more than one character, but no more than three....unless given special permission from me.



13.) I will not tolerate my staff taking matters into their own hands and using their authority to ban another member. If their is a situation that calls for reprimand or banning, it must be discussed with myself before taking action.

14.) And as always: HAVE FUN!

NOTE: All members must sign these rules, any who disobeys them will face the consequences. NO EXCEPTIONS!


PUNISHMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

First Offence~You will receive a warning by one of my staff members.

Second Offence~You will receive a warning by one of my staff members and by myself as well. Staff will warn you, but will inform me and then I will send a warning by a pm.

Third Offence~I will take matters into my own hands and ban your character for a respectable length of time, depending on the situation.

Fourth Offence~You will be banned from my site indefinitely.

Note: Please include the magical word into your character application. The magical word is: Hungarian Horntail
