A REAL RP

Spike grinned furiously, he had been hoping she would react like this
then his grin took on a more sinister look, playful and mischievous.
"they are going to have a time with you" he laughed thinking of the guards when they first saw him in his demon form. what where they going to think about Zerna he wondered.
"oh this is going to be amusing" he laughed and fly on. the dark blue sky above them and the cold jagged mountains below
"we will be there soon, so no falling asleep now"

Zerna lauged and grinned back to Spike, her large white fangs exposing them selves past her dark gray lips. It was apparent that her grin was not as nearly as evil looking as Spikes, but still if any one else had seen her they would have ran in terror.

"They will, will they?" Zerna grinned again, she looked out over the jagged mountains that had taken the place of her pine trees. "Then I will just have to put on my best act." Zerna lauged.

She watched the snowy peaks fly past them, yet the air was still warm around them.

"I dont know if I can fall asleep now...no, now im interested." Zerna smiled and ran her fingers and green claws through her silver coat on the back of her neck. She laughed slightly just wondering where on earth they were going...it if even was earth.

Spike smiled and flew on, knowing this would be indeed interesting especially once she met Geniva his tailorist.

The mountains thinned a little as they approached Lunazul and Wolf castle. spike landed on a well worn caravan road. sitting Zerna on her feet he shifted back. looking at his now ragged clothes.
"I hate it when this happens" he said a bit annoyed tearing off the rags and throwing them to the ground. "I suppose I should stay in this form, wouldn't do me to walk into my own castle naked" he laughed looking at Zerna "We will be heading up the hill here, don't worry about anyone when we pass through the town, they aren't fond of hybrids"

Zerna held on to Spike as he decended quickly, opening his large wings and slowing them to a halt and landing on the old stone path. Feeling the hard earth below her claws mad her happy, she loved flying, but she loved the ground more. Streching her arms and her legs, she worked out any knots that formed while flying.

Turning to Spike she watched him discard his ragged torn clothing to the ground and lauged at the idea of him walking naked through town. "Yes, I think people would be a little shocked to see you in the nude." Zerna teased.

Zerna wondered about the towns people Spike spoke of. What would they think of her. A large, longer fured female wolf, with horns and spikes and markings that resemble bones. No doubt she would be watched with weary eyes. "I will keep an eye out. I dont think they will think fondly of me..." or Zerna was assuming so.

She began to make her way up the path, walking beside Spike. He was taller then her, but not by a whole lot. Indeed, Zerna was very curious now of the town and this new place.

((last post of the night, I need to head to bed and finished some sketches and go to sleep early, I am finishing up a cold and and getting a bit sleepy. I love you spike, and will post tomorrow or when you post next.))

Spike laughed heartily "yes they would be shocked to see me walking nude through town" he walked at a casual pace, in no hurry to enter Lunazul, he may be there Lord but that doesn't mean they have to like him, or that passing through town with out guards was the best idea, he would hate to have to kill someone.

the surroundings where quite, but at this hour he knew the streets of Lunazul would be bustling with all sorts of creatures, mostly lycanthropes.

Zerna laughed again and kept the steady pace along side Spike. As they walked the few birds that Zerna spotted did not sing. This was nothing like the woods she lived in and walked daily. But Zerna would have to get used to it.

Slowly as they made their way up the path Zerna soon spotted the small town like village up ahead. It was like any normal place, yet filled with beings and creatures not that were not human. This was slighly un-nerving to Zerna, growing up surounded by humans all except for Spike. They hustled and bustled back and forth, doing daily work that needed to be done, selling and buying items that Zerna could not always make out. Some carried weapons some did not.

At first Zerna seemed to catch no attention, but it was not long till one or two beings turned to face her and Spike, obviously watching Zerna with angered eyes. It seemed like a wave had stuck as more and more turned their direction. Some only glanced up looked to her and turned back to their work, obviously not caring about the new being Spike had brought back.

"What a lovely bunch..." Zerna whispered to Spike, not taking her gaze from the path ahead. Zerna walked with her head down slightly, trying to at least look like someone who did NOT want to pick a fight.

Spike stopped abruptly and put his arm out to stop Zerna, he lifted her head
"do not cower to them, you are better then they are"
he stretched out his winds to full length and closed them again, drawing everyone's attention to him and away from Zerna.

the sound of armor rubbing together and heavy breathing told him that he had also drawn the attention of at least one guard patrolling the streets.

"M'lord Wolf!" exclaimed the gray and black lycanthrope, he stopped short of Spike and Zerna and bowed
"M'lady, so nice to finally meet you" he bowed again and straitened
"let me escort you to the castle" his hand on the hilt of his sword


"Thank you Drazin" spike said softly. and fell in behind the guard with Zerna wrapped in his arms

Zerna jumped slightly as they came to a halt, Spikes arm stopping her movment. She felt his hand upon her chin as he lifted her head and looked at her. Her solid red orbs gazed at him as he spoke and Zerna mearly nodded as he finished.

But almost as soon as they stopped the clanking of armor behind them caught her attention and she turned to face the lycanthrope. His armor caught the beams of sun the peaked through the clouds above and made him look very imposing. But as he greeted Spike, her nerves calmed and she relaxed.

When the guard adressed her she smiled. "And it is a pleasure to meet you as well." Zerna bowed slightly. She stood back up and rememberd to keep her head held high, like Spike had said. Most if not all attention from Zerna had be turned away, beings getting back to work as if nothing had happend.

As the guard started foward up the path, Zerna felt Spikes strong arm fall across her back and hug her near him. This closness she enjoyed very much, and was thankful for it. Slowly they made their way deeper into the small town, as the path seemed to turn and start to slowly go up hill, obviously to castle of which the guard spoke of. Zerna walked on, her silver fur flipping about in the gentle cool breeze that found its way off the top of the mountains. This air was not as cold as when they were flying, and she welcomed the gentle kiss it left on her cheeks.

Spike leaned in close to Zerna as they walked.
"it is there in the fog" he whispered pointed at the top of the incline about two hundred yards in front of them.
if one strained there eyes they could just make out the black of the castle walls.

Zerna smiled as Spike pointed up the hill infront of them. Her red eyes gazed up the hill and she could make out an outline. But soon as they moved closer, she could see the blackend walls of the large castle infront of them. The front gates loomed infront of them, as they continued up the path. Zerna's mind raced. She had read about castles of old in books and stories, but she had never seen one in real life. She slowed, gazing up at all its splendor, excited. Her hand came to rest on Spikes arm.

"Wow..." was all she said.
