Okay, first I'd like to mention that there is a SEVERE lack of reviews for so many god damned good albums, anyways, here goes.
Blessed Hellride features 11 songs, all backed by Zakk Wylde's complete domination of the guitar. If you like powerful guitars, drop what you're doing and buy this album. The riffs are amazing, the solos are amazing, and Wylde's trademark pinch harmonics are abundant.
Throughout the album BLS displays its ability to play both bold in your face metal, which consists of 9 songs, and its ability to slow it down and play ballads. Personally, I think they had the right idea in the First 8 songs, and the 10th (though at the end Blackened Waters, 9th song, it picks up), but I still enjoy every song on the album. Oh! And of course you can't forget Wylde's ability to ravage a solo. My favorite solo is in Suffering Overdue. It really highlights his ability to accelerate through a solo while staying in time (listen and you'll know what I'm talking about).
Overall, I'd give this album a 10 (but of course I'm a crazy metal lover) so... for the average listener it'd probably be somewhere in the 6-7 range. It is heavy, which many listeners shy away from, but if you can get over that, you'll absolutely be in love with this CD.
