Sonic : Ultima Chaos Episode 1, Final Draft of the scripts

[The first scene is at the Hidden Palace Zone, where Knuckles and Rouge have a light chat while Knuckles keeps an eye on the Master Emerald. The series takes place after the events of Shadow the Hedgehog's game.]

Knuckles : *arriving at the Master Emerald's location* And here it is, the gem of all gems. You're not going to try to steal this, are you?

Rouge : And what if I do?

Knuckles : Well... I'll just have to *clears throat* take it back by force.

Rouge : Then perhaps I'll take it when you're not around.

Knuckles : You're joking, right?

Rouge : I'll leave that for you to wonder.

Knuckles : Oh really?

Rouge : Ya, really.

Knuckles : No way.

Rouge : Too bad.

Knuckles : Sorry Rouge, if you still intend on taking the Master Emerald, I'm gonna have to- *he senses danger coming from the Master Emerald*

Rouge : What?

Knuckles : Wait wait... Something's up.

*Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles break their way into the Hidden Palace Zone, meeting up with Knuckles and Rouge by the Master Emerald*

Knuckles : What the fu-

Mecha Sonic : Targets identified. Surrender the Master Emerald now.

Knuckles : Rouge. This wasn't your idea right? I mean...you're not working with Eggman or anything.......yeah?

Rouge : ...Actually...no.

Knuckles : Ya sure?

Rouge : Positive. I have no idea what Eggman wants this time....besides the Master Emerald, which is obvious by now. I don't know why though.

Mecha Sonic : Repeat. Surrender the Master Emerald now.

Knuckles : Why?

Mecha Sonic : Data is classified under Eggman's orders.

Knuckles : Yeah? Well you can get your tin can asses back to him, and tell him I said to stay the fuck out of my domain.

Mecha Sonic : Failure to co-operate will result in your punishment.

Knuckles : Over my dead body! There's not a chance I'm giving up the Master Emerald to scum like you!

*Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles aim high powered caliber weapons at Knuckles*

Knuckles : ....Oh fuck. ROUGE! GET OUTTA HERE!!!

*Rouge flees, as Knuckles dives for cover from the incoming fire. Followed by that, the Mechas attempt to steal the Master Emerald, but Knuckles stops them. This is where the fight begins*

[Knuckles VS Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles]

Knuckles : GET OUT OF MY DOMAIN!!!

*Knuckles starts off with the upper hand, easily overwhelming the two mechas with his immense physical strength....however, the battle isn't over.*

Mecha Sonic : Target is displaying unusually higher readings than calculated. Initiating full power mode.

Mecha Knuckles : Activated.

*The fight becomes more brutal at this point. As the mechas attack Knuckles with their full abilities, Knuckles starts to get in a bit of trouble. However, Knuckles still manages to put up a hell of a fight...although, as the battle drags on, Knuckles becomes more fatigued, and starts getting beaten down by the Mechas.*

Knuckles : AGH!! SON OF A- *Knuckles gets hit*

Mecha Knuckles : Target's life force is fading.

Knuckles : *spits blood* Shut the fuck up! *he fights on* (lol, stfu)

Knuckles : GUAGGHH!!! *Knuckles receives more damage*

Knuckles : *He gets dizzy after taking more damage* Ugh....ain't that a bitch... *stumbles*

*The mechas proceed to massacre Knuckles, beating him brutally as they knock him out to conclude the fight. They then proceed to steal the Master Emerald, leaving the scene after that. Knuckles is left unconscious, as his body tumbles down the palace. Eventually, Knuckles wakes up in a ditch sometime later.*

Knuckles : *he slowly wakes up.....realizing he failed, and gets pissed. He slams his fist into the ground.* DAMNIT!!!

Knuckles : *he stumbles back onto his feet, dusting himself off and wiping blood off his mouth, marching out of the palace* Eggman...you have A LOT of explaining to do!

[The second scene involves Knuckles arriving at a city of mobius in ruins and chaos, overrun by a three-way war involving Eggman's troops, GUN Soldiers and the Black Aliens. However, Knuckles encounters Eggman's troops first before seeing the Black Aliens, believing the city's ruined state is all Eggman's fault]

Knuckles : Why you- .... Eggman! I should have known your true nature all along! This is what you intend to do with the world?! Mass destruction?! THIS is what you stole the Master Emerald for?! GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! *Knuckles charges violently into the Badniks*

*in the midst of Knuckles' carnage against the Badniks, a holograph of Eggman contacts Knuckles through one of the badniks*

Eggman (holo) : Knuckles! What are you doing?! The Black Aliens have massacred the city! They're murdering civilians and mutating their corpses into minions of their own! What are you wasting time on MY machines for?! I'm trying to stop them!

Knuckles : WHAT?!

Eggman (holo) : I'm sorry I couldn't explain, but I needed the Master Emerald to combat this threat! Don't you see?

Knuckles : Liar! You don't need the Master Emerald just to deal with a bunch of remnant Black Aliens that survived!

Eggman (holo) : No you idiot! Black Doom is still alive!

Knuckles : *Knuckles is shocked* That can't be! I thought Shadow destroyed him for good?

Eggman (holo) : I will explain everything later! Head further into the city to deal with the- *static occurs, as the hologram of Eggman turns to see Black Aliens invading his lab* What?! HOW DID YOU GET PAST MY SECURITY MEA- *the contact cuts off*

Knuckles : That's....not good....

Knuckles : Hmmm.... *he looks ahead at the Black Alien invasion at the city* Man, I hate these guys.

*Knuckles charges into the city to fight the Black Alien menace*

Episode 1 for Knuckles perspective might conclude here. I'll have to check if I could fit in another scene or not though.

[The first scene for Sonic's story takes place in one of the cities on the planet Mobius. Super Sonic flies through the city, eventually meeting up with Tails, who was forced to tag along with Amy and Cream to act as their "bodyguard".]

Super Sonic : Hey Tails! What's up?

Tails : Nothing...except Amy and Cream forcefully took me with them because they needed a "bodyguard"! I mean...are you kidding me with this? ME? A bodyguard?

Super Sonic : ...Are you serious?

Tails : Yeah. .... *annoyed* Ughh! Blast it all! I should be back at the lab finishing up my latest project!

Super Sonic : Oh yeah? Whatcha been workin' on?

Tails : Well, I realized that I- *Cream the Rabbit interrupts, tossing a shopping bag at Tails*

Cream : Here Tails! Hold this!

Tails : Oof! *catches the bag* ...Aww man...I almost forgot..they have me as their bag holder too!

Super Sonic : *laughs* Man...they really got your hands tied...how'd they convince you anyway?

Cream : Oh, we threatened him. *says innocently*

Super Sonic : Threatened him with what?

*Amy enters the scene*

Amy : SONIC!!!!

Super Sonic : Uhhhhh...nevermind....sorry guys, but I gotta jet! *he flies off*

Amy : WAIT! SONIC!! COME BACK!

Super Sonic : *in the distance* Sorry! You ain't gonna get my hands tied up too!

Tails : Damnit!!

Amy : *sighs* Shoot! *she shoves a bag into Tails*

Tails : OOF! *catches the bag, frustrated* HEY! WHAT DO I LOOK LIKE?! YOUR PET?!

Amy : *she draws the Piko-Piko Hammer* Silence!

Tails : .... I'd facepalm right about now if my hands weren't full.

Amy : What?!

Tails : Uhh- !

*Amy smashes Tails with the hammer, causing the screen to black out*

Tails : OW!!! SON OF A- !!

Just asking and it may be a stupid question: Is almost like the script for the movie or just a completely different fiction story about it?

This is for the real UC scenes in the series.

Episode 1 focuses on introductions and familiar faces, but action will obviously be present shortly after the little chatting scenarios. I also wanted to give Tails a more pronounced role, with the part :

I'll leave it as a mystery as to what "Tails realized".

Cool cool, but why is he Super Sonic, just randomly?

In the prologue of UC, after the flashbacks of Shadow's game, there's new recent flashbacks that occur. Shadow returns to Mobius, and Tails was the first to see him back. Shadow gave the chaos emeralds to Tails, who in turn gave them to Sonic "just incase", so Sonic's story starts him off as Super Sonic, who primarily patrols Mobius for any Black Aliens that might have survived.

Okay then.

[The next scene involves the city exploding into mass violence, not long after Super Sonic leaves it. The sudden destruction grasps his attention, and spotting badniks flying into it, Super Sonic becomes enraged and prepares to return to the city. However, before he can make it, he is stopped by Mecha Shadow.]

Super Sonic : Gh...!! Eggman! You'll pay for this! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS! (You delivered this line already in the tryouts so it's not necessary for you to do it again)

*Mecha Shadow reveals a hologram of Dr. Eggman*

Dr. Eggman : Wait! Settle down Sonic! It's not what you-

Super Sonic : Yeah right! Then why are your machines invading the city?!

Dr. Eggman : Damnit! Let me explai- *interrupted*

Super Sonic : Whatever, get out of my sight.

*Super sonic attempts to continue towards the city, but Mecha Shadow stops him again*

Super Sonic : *annoyed* Grrgggh!! Fine!

Dr. Eggman : Would you stop?! Don't you understand that- *gets interrupted*

Super Sonic : I understand everything clearly!

*Super Sonic attempts to punch Mecha Shadow out of the way, but through the captured master emerald in Dr. Eggman's hands, he is able to empower Mecha Shadow into his super form. The attack fails.*

Super Sonic : What?!

Dr. Eggman : Your incompetence is truly surprising, Sonic! Since you're not going to co-operate, I will handle this my way. Mecha Shadow! Begin your combat sequence!

Super Sonic : How did you- *interrupted by Dr. Eggman's speech*

Dr. Eggman : Oh, you can thank Knuckles for being so kind to "drop" his guard while my agents took good care of that precious master emerald. I had no choice however, because the- *interrupted*

Super Sonic : You son of a- ! *he charges at Super Mecha Shadow*

Super Sonic : *battle roar* AAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

Dr. Eggman : Gah! Just get the job over with, Mecha Shadow! He refuses to listen!

*the hologram of Dr. Eggman fades, as the battle between Super Sonic and Super Mecha Shadow begins. Initially, Super Sonic has the upper hand...until Dr. Eggman pulls out a new trick up his sleeve.*

Dr. Eggman : *talking to Mecha Shadow through a transmission* This isn't working as planned. We have no choice! Mecha Shadow! Execute the Chaos Control Beta experiment! Sonic will be our test subject!

Super Mecha Shadow : Chaos Control Beta Version 1!

Super Sonic : What the-

*Super Sonic is caught by surprise, paralyzed in a time rift*

Super Sonic : AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Dr. Eggman : I..I don't believe it! It's working!! Take the chaos emeralds and capture him, Mecha Shadow! Now is our chance!

*Super Mecha Shadow begins extracting the power of the chaos emeralds in an extremely painful manner from Sonic. Shards of the chaos emeralds rip through Sonic's body, causing intense agony as blood gushes out wildly, as if being stabbed by a million blades. The instability in the Chaos Control Beta effects causes tearing of the fabric through the atmosphere itself, revealing a vortex that appears by Sonic.*

Super Sonic : *reverting as the pain continues* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Eggman : You left me no choice, Sonic....

Sonic : GRAGGGHGHHH!!!! *bleeding profusely as all the emeralds are ripped out of him, reforming intact by Super Mecha Shadow*

Dr. Eggman : Now! Capture Sonic!

*However, the Chaos Control Beta effect becomes more unstable. The Chaos emeralds flicker, as Sonic hears a voice in his head*

??? : You have much to learn, Sonic the Hedgehog.

*The vortex that opened pulls Sonic in, and closes before Super Mecha Shadow could claim him. The Chaos Control Beta effect vanishes, returning everything to normal*

Dr. Eggman : What?! Where did he go?!

Super Mecha Shadow : ...Target is no longer in range.

Dr. Eggman : DAMNIT!!! *sighs* At least we have the Chaos Emeralds. Now we'll deal with the Black Aliens....THAT'S INFESTING MY LAB!!! HURRY BACK TO BASE, MECHA SHADOW!!!

Super Mecha Shadow : Affirmative. *he leaves the scene*

[The next scene shows Sonic entering another plane of existence, called the Emerald Grid. He falls through the Vortex, collapsing in a critically wounded state.]

Sonic : *harsh landing* Gaagggh!!! *coughs blood*

*A cloaked figure stands over him, and heals Sonic*

Sonic : Wh....what the...... where.....am I?

??? : Rise, Sonic.

Sonic : Who...are you?

??? : Firstly, you are in the Emerald Grid. Secondly, I am Skylert, guardian of the Ultima Gateway, which is this place ... the East of the Grid.

Sonic : .....Now I'm confused.

Skylert : For now, you are. Dr. Eggman is not entirely responsible for the events that have begun in your world.

Sonic : Then who is it?

Skylert : ....Come...I'll tell you everything from scratch.... it begins with a story that occurred over 9000 years ago....

[The scene then ends with that line as a bit of a cliffhanger, concluding Episode 1 for Sonic's Story]

Yep. Later versions of it will be seen but not anytime soon.

That's one heavy episode one. After reading the line "..it begins with a story that occurred over 9000 years ago...", it's pretty much set in stone that there is going to be quite a deep plot.

Yep. At first it's just gonna look like a standard "zomg black aliens are back!" but yes, the plot will show that it's a lot deeper than that, revolving more around ancient history with the Master Emerald + Emerald Grid.

Nice script so far, but I have a question.

After you came back, you mentioned that Sonic Ultima Chaos would no longer have any ties to the SQFP series. I'm assuming this means that SQFP Sonic is gone, correct?

Wouldn't that also wipe out the whole Cinos subplot as well? I seem to recall that being somewhat important to the storyline. Or are you going to find some way to integrate elements of it into the revised storyline? Because it did seem like a good concept at the time.

I almost forgot who Cinos was, but then I remembered the prologue which had TH Sonic speaking of his own inner darkness consuming his soul or something along those lines from a few years back.

Yeah, that was scrapped. Any SQFP relations were entirely removed in UC. (For now, maybe season 3 might bring it back. Doubt it though.)

[This is the first scene that takes place before Sonic's story, showing the completion of Mecha Sonic, Mecha Knuckles and Mecha Shadow in Dr. Eggman's lab.]

Dr. Eggman : *finishes building Mecha Shadow* Perfect! Now that all three creations have been completed, I can finally begin my conquest for Eggmanland! And this time, NO ONE WILL STOP ME! AHAHAH! AHAHA- *the main computer in his lab starts to beep*

Dr. Eggman : Bloody hell! What is it now?!

Computer : Sir, the lab is picking up a signal from the Space Colony ARK.

Dr. Eggman : Space Colony ARK?! Well what are you waiting for? Put up the display!

*On the display, Dr. Eggman finds Black Doom drifting through space, guarded by several Black Aliens. Despite Black Doom is in a weakened state, he doesn't delay in giving his minions orders. Unfortunately, the signal was so far off that Dr. Eggman couldn't hear what Black Doom was saying. Seeing him though, was enough to alert Dr. Eggman.*

Dr. Eggman : WHAT?! That annoying little maggot is still alive?! No!! Those pesky black alien scumbags will ruin EVERYTHING again!!

*Black doom senses the signal. He turns to the display and cuts it, aware of Dr. Eggman's intervention*

Dr. Eggman : Blast it! He's well aware of us too!

*Dr. Eggman turns to his new creations*

Dr. Eggman : We must act quickly my friends! Mecha Shadow, I need you to track down the Chaos Emeralds. Perhaps we can test your "Chaos Control Beta" while you're at it. Now go!

Mecha Shadow : Orders received. *he leaves*

Dr. Eggman : *he turns to Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles* As for you two, I need you to track down the Master Emerald. Together we will put an end to the Black Aliens AND Eggmanland shall become a reality! Dismissed!

Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles : Affirmative. *they leave*
