Trigun Maximum YKO Chapter 102, SPOILERS

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS ABOUT THE END OF TRIGUN.


However - PLEASE PLEASE change the color of your spoilers to some obnoxious color like yellow (or white) OR... WARN ahead of time!!

I'm not going to make a second topic without spoilers...because I think it would be just plain boring... *chuckles* And I'll do my best not to actually post the summary here - just the link to it when I get it!

Once it is posted on Max7 however, you're free to do as you please.

Well, I read a bit of spoilers about the end...I can't understand a lot, but, the color sprit looks BEAUTY (well, Vash is there!!! )!!!

My full summary - plus some translations...a few I probably screwed up on but I was overly excited. *grins* Forgive me if they suck - but I was having fun!!! Don't shoot the messenger but this chapter was so great!! I'm just so happy right now and beaming and excited! And of course you get the picture to go along with it too. ^_~


Ten years have passed since Vash and Knives disappeared from Octoverne into the sunset. On the wall of a saloon are two wanted posters, one for Vash, another for Millions Knives. A radio broadcast is talking about the two. A man with a gun looks out through the slatted blinds. In the distance stands a church, surrounded by mechs (ala Ghost in the Shell) and walkers - all high-tech stuff. The guy points out the window, we're surrounded, or something. "Hey, Vash," he says turning to look at a black haired fellow, hair around his eyes, closing up his bag.

"....Yeah... I know..." Vash responds with a slow smile. The otehr guy and a kid are talking, something about there being something about it on the television. Sitting on the desk nearby is a newspaper article that reads "BIG PLANT DOME" - a picture of the Octoverne plant dome where the plants are living safely.

In the back they uncover a secret escape route into the ground. The old guy asks if Vash really has to go and Vash apologizes. The little boy looks sad, they'd both found Knives and Vash ten years before. Knives was smoking from the change to look 'human' again, the child is barely an infant, standing behind his father with fear as Knives begs for help. Vash and the two talk for a bit, remembering what happened to Knives. In a flashback a small apple tree stands in the sand. "UHWAA!! What is this!!?" The boy exclaims. Knives explains that it is an apple tree, something of a going away present. (Perhaps) The boy looks surprised and showed, "Aren't you going to tell Vash?" The boy turns, calling for Vash over and over again.

"Vash!! VASH!!!" Knives looks tired and he lowers his head, closes his eyes.... the cloak wrapped around him floats off in the breeze. The boy stops, shocked, turns to find Knives has disappeared.

Vash looks up in memory, "Yes, it's time for me to go too." He says, smiling slightly. ".....Uhn. Thank you."

The people are coming closer. "Father..." The boy starts, his father (I believe the boy's name is Cleat) says something to him as Vash climbs out trying to find the passage way out. He lifts up the manhole and it's behind the crowd. The leader of the group starts his microphone, coughs into it and then starts saying something - I'm expecting it talks about them being "S class damage" or some sort, talking about Vash the Stampede and Millions Knives... And that they're going to give him 5 seconds to come out or they start shooting.

"Father!!!!" Cleat yells... "5 seconds..." Father starts thinking something, sweating, nose dribbling, as they start the coundown... The father throws himself over Cleat as they count down to "....0!!!!"

Suddenly the DIABLO lands on the counter's head. Vash looks all fury and red coat, spikey black hair. Everyone gasps, swinging around to see, "HEY...!!! IS THAT....!!!!!? ....The long red coat!!!! Long spiked black hair....!!! ....It couldn't be...!!! No it's gotta be....!!!"

"VASH THE STAMPEDE?!!!! YEEEEESSSSU!!! I'M HEREEEEEEE!!!!" Vash screams, shooting his gun up into the air and screaming, people trampling after him as he runs!

"That idiot!!!" Father screams as the huge crowd goes pouring after Vash. He speeds up thinking about something as he runs over the hill. As he jumps over the hill.... ."Ah VASH!" A huge group of UGLIES are waiting for him with guns!! Every single bad-ass guy you can think of "Ooooh.... Isthatisthat is that..." Vash scrambles up back OVER the hill again - the uglies following! Vash slides to a hault on the ground as the baddies both start firing at each other! Vash starts to cry, like this isn't what he wanted to happen!! Suddenly a huge blast blows him up into the air! Vash carwheels ansd spins... finally landing...

In front of a familiar shoe. His eyes go wide (glup) and he looks up sweating...to a familiar skirt... Where Milly and Meryl are standing in front of him! "MERYL!!" Vash exclaims happily. Meryl doesn't look all that happy though. He starts to sweat. The baddies are actually looking on surprised.

Meryl starts chewing Vash out. "Really... Again...!!! You're always getting into things!!!! VASH-SAN!!!!! Don't tell me you've forgotten what you told me before you left Octoverne!!!"

"Ah.... Sorrry----"

Meryl continues to chew him out and everyone is like 'whoa she's really chewing him out' kinda faces. Then Meryl swallows, and smiles at him. "Anyway!!" She punches Vash in the chest, "This is a new beginning!! This is great new chance to continue where we left off!"

Vash looks excited, he lifts his gun about to go to fight with everyone and Milly and Meryl turn surprised. Vash blushes. "Ah...not like that Vash-san."

"We're in a new business." They hand him cards over his shoulder. Vash's eyes widen. He reads, "...NLBC.... (Noman's Land Broadcast)" He swallows and turns...

Meryl whips open her cape to reveal dozens of microphones!!!! Milly whips out a camera!! Vash goes silent as Meryl holds up the mic to him. "Cue!" She goes - behind Milly is a walking television monitor hooked up to her camera for broadcasting. They go into a long spiel about Vash the Stampede. Meryl starts reading cue cards on a note pad, asking questions and talking about this 'Special report!' Vash looks like walking death (ala when he and Wolfwood were left in the desert death look). He TRIES to say "KaKa...Kan...Beeeenwaaaaa...."

Suddenly everyone's TVs are lit up with the face of Vash. BDN! The dudes Vash saved before Knives captured him! The little Arcadia crew! Lina, Grandma Sheryl and even pigman who is now a waiter! "Rem..." Vash things... "Ah...Rem..."

Livio tips his hat at Nick's grave. He looks up smiling, long hair around his face, looking younger than ever. Vash starts to laugh. People look at him laughing on the TV. Kuronika sees him on her screen as he turns to run. The Nebraska family watch too! Brad gapes as Luida smiles as Vash runs!!!

Vash runs off into the desert, there are a few last words..."

Awwww!!! We need images!!! The complete sprite!!! He looks so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Apparently a lot of people are worried about the final chapter because they didn't post anything here! I wonder if they just don't want spoilers.... ooops I forgot to change the color!! Okay - that done, that actually IS the entire page that Vash shows up - the left page is merely clouds and sand - so I didn't cut off any of Vash, that's how he's drawn!

I've been randomly posting various scans from the last chapter since I really don't have time to sit down and scan the whole thing and then clean it all like I would like to. It's hard enough for me to find time and sit here typing this since I've had a guest all week for Easter Vacation! I don't want to be TOO rude you know... But I went three days so I thought - okay, gotta get on here and see what's going on. ^_~

Wow....that was...fitting. any idea what happens to Knives after he disappears?

The concensus so far is that he merely used the rest of his energy and thus his body was no long stable and poof! Though, one never knows, it's possible he just sprouted wings and flew straight up leaving his cloak behind. *chuckles* I figure he's just gone, which is a fitting end, Knives really would have no hope of being accepted by the planet after everything he did. It's not an excrutiating death, just a peaceful goodbye, which is what Knives deserves after he saved Vash even though he'd been trying so hard to kill Vash. ^_~

JOY FOR THE FINAL CHAPTER!! can't wait to see it.

Hmmm..just leaving his clothes...An angel Knives flying nude in the blue sky?

Is it possible to get high-res copies of the colored scans anywhere? I don't put them on the web, just into my personal sreensaver, and a screen full of Vash is such a spirit lifter!

I want it, too!!! In my wall, in my notebook, in my locker...

Unfortunately during my move I'm forced to leave my wonderful scanner here (since it's my Mom's) and I'm not sure how long it'll be until I get another one...*sigh* I wanted to have the whole chapter scanned before this, but it never happened...oi vey - anyone get it and can scan it??

Sorry I haven't meant to let anyone down this time around...hopefully I'll be back up in running soon... >_<

I would but I still haven't heard anything from akadot yet about when their receiving their YKO's

*squee* Akadot just got in their YKO's if anyone's interested I made sure they 2-day shipped it for me...and i bought two just in case something happened tot he first XD
