I love Trigun, have read some of Hellsing, read Death Note, and right now am reading Rurouni Kenshin. I want to know if anyone knows of other manga that they would suggest to someone like me. I want to know what to read next!?

Sgt. Frog is an amusing little series. Haven't read terribly much of it but it seems great and is recommended elsewhere. Full Metal Alchemist is also a really good read. I read the first 50-some odd chapters. I like it better than the anime.

If you haven't read them yet:
Berserk (crazy dark) Full Metal Alchemist (funny, dark, crazy action) Trinity Blood Vampire Hunter D (novels - 11 so far) Zombie Powder (by the same manga-ka as Bleach, 4 books) Bleach (yeah, it's long but good) I have a ton of series that are more girlie or fanservicey I could mention if that's your cup of tea...if not...well, you've got some of the more shonen ones. |

I love Zombie Powder! After Bleach, I think that Tite Kubo should go back and give a good ending. There's one reason why it reminds me of Trigun, and why I like it so much, is the Western, Desert Punk theme. I have a real soft spot for them.
As for next Manga to read, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an epic that has been running since 1987 in Weekly Shounen Jump, AND STILL GOING! Another on is Monster, I swear to god one of the best, if not THE best. It's a mystery, psychological, drama. You should really give it a shot, you won't be able to stop. The last one is Saint Young Men. Hilarious if your not really religious. |

Heard of the first two manga you suggested but never saw Saint Young Men...I'll have to look into it (I'm religious...but I like to be well rounded...heh heh)
Another series I've gotten into lately is TOTO - although I've only seen the series at Barnes & Noble bookstores (I'm usually more of a fan of Borders) - it's got this big similarity in drawing styles to Trigun, plus the references to the Wizard of Oz makes it pretty funny. I've only personally read the first one but I know there are like 5 or more out already. Check it out, if you like the art style of Nightow or even the Immortal Rain series...you'll like this one too. |
