As of recently I've been a tad inactive. It should become more of a problem, so I needed to make this annocunement.
First off, I have a pseudo-lead role in the local musical Guys & Dolls. For those of you who are wondering I'm Benny (and I wanted either him or Ski =D). That's because the director needed the strong low voices in the chorus, but I approached her about this and she agreed. So I'm very happy, but I won't be appearing on as much because that means a lot of rehersals. Besides, I now have to wage war with the creator of the script about changing dialogue, and hopefully I win. Not sure how it's going to work though, but I'll try to be doing that.
My teachers have decided that since we're in the second semester we should have more homework than the first semester. For those of you who are wondering I am on an A/B day schedule, and I have my Math and English on one day and my French and Science (and Yearbook) on the other day. I'm now getting ~50 problems for my math and the B and C worksheets, and for French I'm getting four handouts. So that's going to hapmer my ability to get on by a little.
Thirdly, my orothodontist just recently died, but I was still able to get my braces off. So, that means we have a funeral to attend and I have retainers to take care of, and combined with rehersals I can easily lose them. So there's another reason.
With all of these working together I won't get much computer time except of weekends, where I'll hve plenty of time. So if your journey has not been replied to in a few days, wait until the weekend where I'll get it done.
But I'm not abandoning you guys or anything for the muscial, so don;t get me wrong. Just having an acting part (aka, being a "lead") means I'll have to go to a lot more practices. I'm really excited, because I seriously doubt I'll go three days without even signing on at all. At least one and possibly two, but definitely not three.

So, what's up with the activity. I'll give inot your demands about what you would like added to the site, as long as it's within reason. I won't get mad or anything, so voice your opinions. Zephyr is the only one I have seen sign on, along with the occasional KokomonainMargarita sightings.
I know school is a killer, and I know you may have a job, and I know it's allergy season, and I know it's football/fallball/whatever other sport I haven't mentioned season, but we need ot get it together. Pur first anniversary is coming up in a few months, and I want for us to have out 5,000 post promo and reach the 100 member mark.
If you have anything to say, within reason, please post it. I won't take offense for anything, and I mean anything, even if you consider it to be rude. |

Introduction
I want this topic taken into great account as making it was no picnic.

Here I will be going over the ranks or the staff member; what they do, their responsibilites, etc.
Adminstrator - Basically manages the forum and does everything. I'm the only one in this Root Admin group. I also have unlimited PM storage.
Co-Admin - Anyone who has ACP access. They pretty much manage the board, overseeing. A lot like a Global (Super) Mod. They have unlimited PM storage.
Global Moderator - The highest ranking moderator. Global Moderators basically do the same thing as Co-Admins, except with no ACP access. Global Mods will be doing a lot with the Mod CP and also Sprite and mod the RPG. They have unlimited PM storage.
RPG Moderator - What do you think this group does? They moderate the RPG. If you couldn't figure that out, take a class on common sense or something. An RPG Mod has the same power as a Global Moderator except that they don't sprite. They have unlimited PM storage.
Spriting Team - The users on the spriting team sprite. Duh. This could be for a member's request, for the RPG, or for something else. They have the same power as a Global Moderator, but they don't mod the RPG. They have unlimited PM storage.
Moderator - A less powerful Global Mod. They moderate specific forums; basically the general ones. Each Moderator may mod different forums. They have unlimited PM storage. Moderators may moderate the entire forum without RPG and Spriting powers.
Elite Member - A Member that has gotton a lot of posts (no specific number). They now have modding powers inside their own topics. They also have extra PM storage.
Members - A member without a lot of posts. They are generally new to the site. The mojority of the users will be members. They have no modding powers and have limited PM storage.
Validating - A user who has not activated his/her acocunt.
Banned - A member who has been banned from Meral Region RPG for specific reasons. Hopefully we won't get many of these users. They cannot post or use the PM system, but they can simply view the board.
Guest - A user who has either not registered or logged in. |

It's true. I'll be gone until Sunday or Monday, (hopefully Saturday night) because I am going to Boston and Maine for a family reunion. I have no idea if I will have internet access in the hotel or not (gotta love those hotel websites that don't tell you anything), but if I do I won't be signing on very much. I might just be sending Snattle email regarding staff applications.
However, this will give me plenty of time (eight hour car ride, ugh) to work on my Wi-fi team. So work on yours! I plan on having a Wi-Fi tournament soon. |
