Moderator Tryouts!

Tryouts end January 15th! No applications will be accepted after that date. Mod's will be announced on January 17th.

Yeah, I know. You're probably thinking how can I become a Moderator? Well let me tell you how!
-You must have at least 7 posts in order to meet the requirement. (If you are a new member or something -- have been on vacation, etc. -- we will make exceptions. If you don't, still apply, although your chances of becoming a mod may not be as high!)
-You must be active and well known through out the forum.
-You must be willing to stay active and participate in the things we need you to do.

You're probably also wondering what are the benefits of being a Moderator?
-You gain access to the Staff Board, which no other member except the Mod's and Admin's are allowed to see.
-You are allowed (and encouraged) to particpate in Staff Polls.
-You gain a spiffy member title.
-You gain respect (hopefully) from the members.
-You get to moderate other people's posts.
-You are considered, if your a good moderator, about getting a new position, either as a Global Mod, Super Mod, or even...ADMINISTRATOR!

Another question we have gotten is What exactly does a MOD do?
-Well, Moderators sometimes help in Skinning.
-Moderators archive threads, which means putting them away in a marked place after they have been completed/unactive for so long.
-A moderator also goes around to random boards and looks them over to make sure that everything is in order and everyone is following the rules.
-A moderator also helps out new members and is a helper for the site, this means if Michi or I are ever busy and we need the rules updated, etc, then the Moderator/s will do this for us. They are our replacements if we are ever gone on holiday, grounded, etc.

Special Reconigiton (if any): Uh... I don't know, but I've known Ashlee and Michi for quite some time. =]
Why you should be the person we choose (what could you help out with, etc.): Well I am a very active person. I am an experienced graphic/CSS coder, and could help do layouts. I'm also a very good Moderator because I have had some experience in hosting/modding some forums.
Are you active: Yes. 2-6 hours a day mostly
How committed are you?: Very. I'll put my time and patience into it.

I know it isn't much, and I know I haven't posted 7 posts yet, but you know me, so hopefully I'll have a chance.

Why you should be the person we choose: I have about two years experience when it comes to being a Mod, been role-playing for about three years, and I have creative genious (it just comes when it wants to now ^^). I am quite active and often have too much time on my hands and sit around waitin' for someone to come online. (Welcome to my life)

Are you active: Yep, I'm on for at least 2 hours everyday unless I'm on leave.
