His final question before Jared came on was the only real disaster of the con. But DEAR GOD was it HORRIFYING. This woman (who had been asking terrible questions all con and giving her WHOLE LIFE STORY and then being RUDE to everyone she talked to) said that she loved the episode route 666 and that it was an interesting episode because Dean got "Jungle Fever." Jensen TRIED to make it better right then and there by saying - Dean just has female fever the end, but the woman WOULD NOT SIT DOWN and went on to say, "He should go back and tell the writers they got it wrong because "once you've had black, you never go back."

By this point, staff was frantically pushing her away from the mike and Clif had ducked back behind the curtain to get Jared to come out and rescue Jensen (Which he did! \0/) but not before the woman was able to yell on the way back to her seat something about making Jensen blush.

Jared did come on (with Starbucks for both of them) and Jensen was able to make a stratigic retreat doing his "jungle fever" dance. He did pop back really quickly though yelling, "DAMNIT JARED! What are you trying to do to me?" And Jared laughed and was all, "What it's strong like you like it." and Jensen goes back grumbling. Jared then turns to the audience and was all, "I totally spit in it." lol

Ouch! :ph43r: What's worse is the disrespectful comment about "once you go black... you never go back" WTH! :angry: She sounded like a real nut! But as for making the Cassie fans look bad... I don't know. It would be stereotyping to blame all just for one looney. <_<

But I'll admit that made me worried that they will never bring Cassie back on due to comments such as these. :unsure:

Poor Jensen. How was he suppose to answer a question like that?? I like how he said he had woman fever though. He's so smart and quick witted.

And I really can't believe she said once you go black you don't go back. Unbelieveable. Obviously she has no shame or decency. Couldn't she tell she was embarrasing him.

Jensen and Jared are truly special men. They go to these Cons even though they work 15 hours a day and give so much of themselves, there time and patience. Then to be treated like that. :angry:

No I don't think it makes all Cassie fans look bad. As the saying goes one rotten apple doesn't spoil the whole barrel. I think Jensen and Jared are use to some crazies. And I think they know there are more good ones than bad ones. And what about that English girl that jumped Jensen in England. Did that make all English girls look bad? No, and Jensen even accepted her apology for jumping him.

I don't know what was wrong with the fans at this convention because I've already hear two disturbing rumors, no link was provided, but it was still believeable to me. The first was that Danneel was at the Con and a couple of fans asked the guards to remove her, right in front of Jensen and Danneel. Like I said I don't know if that's true of not but if true how unbelieveably rude!! I don't like Danneel and I happily admit to that but I would never be rude to her. How uncomfortable and embarrasing for Jensen. She had every right to be there, she was Jensen's guest not to mention his girlfriend.

The other rumor is that a male fan was being rude about the new Ruby, he asked rude questions about the character and the actress. Expressing that he liked the other Ruby much better than this one. I'm not sure if he was asking Jared the questions or not but if he was again, how rude :o Especially since it appears that Jared and Gen are together. I just don't understand such blatant rudeness from some people!!

That's just terrrible. I don't think it makes Cassie fans look bad. I think it makes that woman look bad. People ask some strange questions.

The Danneel rumor is true b/c the girl who asked the guard the question posted it on her LJ (the link was posted on another forum) and basically said the moment she spotted Danneel sitting behind Jensen, she felt the con was ruined for her. She admits that she 'jokingly' asked a guard to remove Danneel from the con. It's disgusting that someone who is supposedly a fan of Jensen's would act like that. The man works nine months out of the year in Vancouver, if he wants to spend some time with his girlfriend, who are we to begrudge him? It's not like she was interrupting anything. One fan even said that she said hello to Danneel and that they had a very nice conversation.

Yes the Danneel rumor is true. Eden posted the LJ link in the Salute to Supernatural Con 2009 thread, complete with pictures. Danneel looks really sad and out of place to me. But maybe that's just me.

Its assanine to me. I think she looked fine. Even if she was bored who cares? I cant blame her if she happened to be but that doesnt mean she is a bad girlfriend or she doesnt appreciate what he does.

My bf has his own business on the side and when I go to functions to support him you know what? I get a lil bored too if I am left by myself while he off working behind the scenes. It happens, it doesnt mean I dont appreciate, love or support him it just means I'm human.

I think fans need to recognize the line between fantasy Jensen and real Jensen. He is a person; they dont have to like his gf but they dont have a right be so rude to her or him. Think about if they were in her shoes, and fans did that to them?

Well said, Chels! The worst part is she's a human being w/feelings and doesn't deserve to have nasty things said about her just b/c of who she dates.

No Danneel doesn't deserve to have nasty things said about her and to be treated that way by Jensen's fans. I'm not really surprised by it though. With what some of his fans say about him and Jared characters!! Slash, Wincest anyone :o

I think Jensen has mostly normal loving and kind fans. But the fanatics that want Dean and Sam together as lovers when they are brothers on the show. Dean was right, that is just sick. Incest with a family member, brother or sister is WRONG!!

And yet the Slash and Wincest fans love it and are proud of it. So Danneel gets treated badly by some of his fans and that is wrong, but I think Jensen and Jared gets treated worse by SOME of their own fans!!

The thing about the slash/wincest aspect of fandom, though, is that it's just fiction. I don't think it ranks on the same level as attacking the actors or their loved ones in real life.

The only thing that gets me about Wincest is the incest part of it :o

I have no problems with two conscenting adult males who love each other and are in a relationship. But does it have to be two males who are blood related to each other????

Getting back to the Cassie question. I saw a report on the Salute to the LA Con Super Wiki thread, that most posters thought the Jungle Fever comment really shocked Jensen, because Dean never thought of Cassie in terms of her color. I mean Dean and Cassie being an interracial couple was never mentioned on the show. There was talk about prejudice but that happened over 40 years ago.

I still think that fan embarassed herself more than Jensen. He bounced back pretty quickly and even did a song and dance to Jungle Fever. That's why I love Jensen he takes lemons and makes lemonade.
