An arrow shot, forced through the air until landing a ring before the center target. Hikari Shirakawa sighs at the lack of focus she had so far. Three arrows all at odd places, only one was near the center. The cool autumn wind should have no effect at this range, so it only meant that she was the problem. The pink haired cutie was quite good with this, it was one of her favorite things to do. She had even set up the archery equipment on her own.

And yet she simply couldn't focus enough to land an arrow the center target. What could be on her mind? Well, she finally found out the strange girl that scared her out of her mind (for some reason) at the assembly - Kanami Miyamoto, an intimidating girl given her introduction. Then not to mention she had been having odd dreams about people she never met, but had seen around campus...

Augh, can't think about that now! I'm worrying over nothing!

"Try again!" She encourages herself wish as much cheer as she could muster. Pull back, aim and woosh - an arrow flying through the air...and landing right at the border of the center target. Hikari glares bright blue daggers at the target.

It's mocking me today, isn't it! Well, Mr. Arrogant Target, I'm gonna shoot straight into your heart!


"Excuse me." A pat on her shoulder, Hikari jumps. Behind her was a boy (presumably because the face was girly) with dark hair and dark gray eyes. Not a person she knew before, but given he too was in a the notable boy's uniform, a student. Maybe a younger or older grade level? Hikari smiles.

"Ah, sorry, I was thinking to myself."

"You like archery too? If you don't mind, I would like a shot."

Oh! They had common interests, wasn't that great! Hikari smiles cheerfully, handing the bow and pulling an arrow from the quiver. "Sure thing, I'm glad I met someone else who likes this."

The boy nods, his dark eyes focused on the target. Given the way he aims and holds the bow, he really was not an amateur. The little gears in Hikari's head turned as she watched. He releases, the arrow flies across the way at great speed...and land right next to her, right at the border of the center target - sweatdrop, it had only taken one shot from him! The boy looks at her with a sheepish smile.

"Guess I had a lot on my mind, hm?"

"I know how you feel." Hikari pauses and then perks up. "Hey, you wanna help me make an archery club? Even if we don't we can still hang out here, you know?"

"I'd like that. I'm Akira."

"Hi-ka-ri! Nice to meet you Akira!" The girl introduces herself with a sing-song voice. A meeting of the archers had been established!
