By now one can assume that Ken Namiashi is relatively tired. He left his amazing circle set up, taking out a few chairs to compensate for the number of students that were in the junior class. He had half rubbed off the words he'd written on the board, taking out most ending letters of all of them.

Geom

Alg

C

A little something like that. The white board eraser had fallen to the floor, and Ken was sitting with his arms on the desk, his head resting on them. Just a quick nap before class started, he was sure someone would wake him if they needed to.

Once more, it seemed Taro was seriously enjoying annoying the utter hell out of Amelia. Unfortunately for him, it was difficult to dampen her bright and sunny mood. Out of English, and it was time for her favourite class of the day. Mathematics with Ken Namiashi! Ayano had her turn, and while Amelia was jealous she got to be in class with the glorious teacher first, she could deal with it. Because now she got to sit with him. First out the door, but she had stopped to catch up with her fellow fangirls for an update of sorts. But somehow he managed to appear at the door.

"Go away! What are you, waiting for me or something? Can't you see I'm obviously not interested?" Amelia called, knowing Ken was waiting for her on the other side of that closed door.

"Get lost, I'm waiting for someone not hung up on Narcolepsy Man." Taro replied, leaning against the wall beside the door. Amelia decided not to bother with him. If he found someone else to annoy, that was too bad for them. The idea that someone was prettier than her was something that didn't register in her mind. Because hey, some things really just don't happen.

Who was he waiting for? Maybe someone with wings, or maybe his new roommate. But that information might be better left as a surprise.

X-oshi turned the corner and was down the way from the classroom. He still had a couple of minutes to spare and ofor once he felt like having some fun. HE saw a couple of kids bustling around and some other kept to theirselves.

He reached up above his head for a few seconds until he pulled out a yellow tennis ball. And proceeded to launch it down the hallway towards some lockers. But before it hit the lockers it was redirected back to him. He caught it and did it again and again and again... for a bout a minute of so...

...fun times....

Amber appears from thin air outside of the classroom, courtesy of her Aeon. She was able to make it to the lockers, drop off the English book for the day and teleport with ease outside of the math class. Waiting outside the class was X-oshi and one of the other classmates. Taro, was it? Ah, like the vegetable, that's right!

"Bored?" She politely asks X-oshi, watching him launch the tennis ball and rebounding.

A brief peek into the classroom revealed the mystery as to why they were outside. Ken Namiashi had fallen asleep. Given the schedule, it had to have been right after dismissing the tenth graders. The nephlet was rather impressed as to how easily and quickly he had fallen asleep.

Amber glanced down at her Aeon. There was still some time left before they had to enter the class, so why not just wait around here? Emmy and Mazo should be coming by any moment, and after having to sit through the English class of doom under the direct gaze of the scary-awesome Kudo, she was happy to be able to actually sit with them.

The ball came from below this time... its potential energy had run out just below his jaw line. With a swipe of his right hand he caught the ball before it began to fall.

"Bored?" The words spoken from the winged girl, Amber, had hit the nail on the head...

"Yeah... we got a couple of minutes and the teacher is sleeping..." he answered her question-statement as she began to peer into the classroom.

He glanced over in the hallway and saw one of his other classmates standing outside the door talking on the Aeon device that was given to everyone... he began to wonder where he put his at.

Coming out of his deep thought, he opened a portal and let the ball enter. But it didn't come back out. Fun time was over. He would just wait until others showed up or until Ken woke up. He never expected a teacher to be passed out during or between classes. He figured if this kept up, the teacher would sleep during the entire period.

That would be fun....

Darrien saunters into the math classroom with his head down, immersed in something on his Aeon. First period was markedly successful, though he felt somewhat offput that he'd gotten classmates in trouble as well.

Taking a seat in the circle so he faced the door, Darrien looked up for a short second and noticed Namiashi-sensei sleeping at his desk. Returning to his Aeon, he resumed his feverish typing.

Looking over toward Amber and X, he made a slight waving motion, smirking slyly as he sat back and waited for the rest of his class to enter.

X-oshi noticed the one named Darrien enter into the classroom. He had gotten his classmates extra assignments last period. He seemed somewhat dismayed, by the look on his face... but he could be wrong. He gave a small wave.

Even though he should be upset with his classmate... he had to at least be somewhat respectful, so he gave him the "whats up" nod... even though Darrien wasn't looking.

He seemed to be real interested in his Aeon device.... X-oshi began to think once more... where he had put his.

"Ah, Darrien!"

Amber says in a greeting. She pats Xoshi's shoulder to make him aware of her departure and quickly walked over to his desk. He may have been texting away, but he would be listening at least.

"You really were testing Kudo-sensei's patience, ne?" The winged girl says without an ounce of agitation towards him. A little writing would not kill anyone, but at the moment it had been much more of an inconvenience than anything. She carefully takes a seat next to him, smoothing out her skirt.

"I don't know how you even could. She's such a scary woman..."

Especially given her recent encounters with her - there were times where she was admirable and then times where Amber absolutely feared the woman. It was about then that the winged girl finally took note that the chairs were in a circle, with the desks stacked up in the back.

"Ah...hm. Odd setup..." She says absently, yet knowing full well what comes of a circle of chairs in a classroom.

"Ah, Darrien!"

Finishing the note on his Aeon, Darrien pressed a series of buttons to lock it, then slid it in his pocket and looked up to Amber.

"Well hello darlin." he says with a smile.

"You really were testing Kudo-sensei's patience, ne?"

Shifting in his seat, he makes sure to face the winged one, locking her eyes out of respect. "I figured it best to learn her limits day one, unusually short fuse that one has." he said, trailing off to the end. Seizing his voice once more "I mean, what if someone requires a moment with nature while in her class?" A coy smirk floats over his face.

"I don't know how you even could. She's such a scary woman..."

"Ah yes, I wonder what pacifies this beast? I doubt music would work, she doesn't seem quite human enough to enjoy chocolate, maybe she eats soap?" allowing a slight giggle to eminate from his lips, he gazed around the circle of desks, mirroring Amber.

"Ah...hm. Odd setup..."

"Interesting, I concur."

Ahh, math, his next class. Hopefully it would be better than English, Mazo thought. Though, judging from what he had seen and done in English it seemed everything else would be a more enjoyable alternative. Even Stein's class sounded better, though perhaps that stems from a hidden joy of dissection that Mazo had. Dissection is at least vaguely similar to sword fighting. Disection just tends to have a more surgical precision, but other than that the raven-haired teenager could clearly see the similarities. Now wasn't the time for that though, it was math and he had to deal with that.

From what he could tell, Ken Namiashi seemed pretty laid back, and Mazo was thankful for that. Mazohyst was already sick of Kudo's uptight personality. He definitely wasn't going to pass that class. A change would be good at least. Though, he had to admit, he definitely did not like most of his classmates so far. One in particular was standing by the door. Mazo flashed a glance at the red-haired Taro. It was clear by now that Mazo didn't like him.

He shook his head and peered into the classroom. "Is he seriously sleeping?" The teenager said to himself, shrugging. He stepped away and leaned against a wall with his arms crossed. He flashed a quick smile towards Amber but the teenager said nothing.

"I figured it best to learn her limits day one, unusually short fuse that one has. I mean, what if someone requires a moment with nature while in her class?"

Amber couldn't help but to giggle, at least she felt more free to do so here.

"I suppose you'd ask or wait. The former is for the brave souls. But still, try not to anger her too much...you might pick up some enemies if you keep having her subject the rest of us with more assignments than she probably has planned."

"Ah yes, I wonder what pacifies this beast? I doubt music would work, she doesn't seem quite human enough to enjoy chocolate, maybe she eats soap?"

Amber tilts her head in thought. "Mmm, I wonder...I always imagined that it must be something rare, legendary and exotic that has the ability to soothe her. It would be a fine reason to go on a quest, even if it's just for the adventure of it all."

And hopefully such things will never make it back to Kudo. Ever since the few encounters she had with her, she wondered if Kudo was always watching her somehow, someway. She could draw information out of others with ease, so her minor dips into the paranoid were probably not entirely unfounded. She smiles back at Mazohyst and moves over over one seat: Emmy can sit on one side, Mazo can sit in the other...if they felt inclined to.

Oh right...they probably won't like the point o the circle...

"Ah, what do we have next?" She muses to herself, unfolding her class schedule. A cloud of gloom formed over her head - seemed like Stein's class was next....and right before lunch. Wonderful. To shake off the sense of dread, she glances back over to Darrien.

"I assume your summer was eventful?"

Amber brushed by after talking to some random guy for a while; Taro pretended not to notice her. He would get to her a little later, but first he had to build some kind of rapport with his new roommate. After all, they did know each other. He might be able to use whatever friendship he can make with the guy to his advantage when the time came.

"Is he seriously sleeping?"

"I dunno, looks that way but." He replied, knowing the guy wasn't expected a response from anyone but he decided to give one anyway. Taro moved slightly to stand at his side, catching the way he smiled at Amber as he moved. Oh yeah, there was definitely something going on. He raised a hand as if to wave to his new roommate; probably better if he told him now, he figured. "Hey bro, I'm Taro. You and I are gonna be living together from now on, did you get the message or what?" He asked, genuinely curious considering he had just been told not too long ago.

The messaged had buzzed right to his Aeon, he assumed Mazo had gotten the same one. Or maybe it was a simple loophole in the system. Or, alternatively, the school just thought it would be funny to message one of them. "So I figure the school guys just moved all my stuff in- Hey, since we're talking I gotta question about someone." Taro said, leaning closer to make sure no one else would hear. Except then he pointed towards Amber, "What's going on with you and her? I gotta know my boundaries. You're my roommate, I gotta keep things, y'know, alright between us."

X-oshi looked down the hallway in both directions and saw most of the kids going into their next class, as Amber patted his shoulder declaring her exodus from his side. X-oshi had loiterd enough outside the classroom anyways and most of the class had allready shown up. With a big sigh ,he brushed his hair back across his head and went inside.

He stood inside the doorway for moment... not sure exactly where to sit. He turned to face the board and noticed no seating chart and the seats are placed in a circle. He raised an eyebrow and sat in a chair across the way from the sleeping Ken.

Most of the class was milling about, talking and having a good time... or so it seems... and X-oshi was quickly bored once more. Well, at least he got to class on time.

"I dunno, looks that way but."

He definitely didn't expect an answer but he did receive one from none other than that red-haired annoyance. Mazo raised an eyebrow slightly and gave him a slightly peeved glance. What he truly did not expect was what came after that. Taro had positioned himself beside him and waved. The teenager's expression had not yet changed. He still looked at equally tall male with the same eyebrow-raised expression.

"Hey bro, I'm Taro. You and I are gonna be living together from now on, did you get the message or what?"

'You've got to be kidding me,' Mazo thought as his left hand raised itself to perform the classic 'face palm' manuever. He stayed like that for a quick second before reaching into his pocket to check his Aeon. Unfortunately for Mazo, Taro wasn't joking. He seriously was his new roommate. That fact caused him to clench his teeth and glare briefly at Taro.

"Sounds damn terrific," He spoke, his tone was sarcastic with a hint of malice. For most of his time at MHS Mazo did not have a roommate. He enjoyed the solitude and the peace and he hated the fact that it was being taken away from him. However, there was little the violet-eyed teenager could do about that problem and he grudgingly accepted it.

"So I figure the school guys just moved all my stuff in- Hey, since we're talking I gotta question about someone.""What's going on with you and her? I gotta know my boundaries. You're my roommate, I gotta keep things, y'know, alright between us."

His violet-eyes narrowed angrily, glaring malovently at the red-headed Taro. However, they quickly widened again as he noticed how defensive he was getting about Taro's question. There wasn't anything serious going on between Amber and Mazo, however...

'You could break his jaw if you want, you know? Maybe cut his scalp off and place it on a flagpole,' He shook those thoughts out of his head, opting for a more subtle and neutral position.

"Just don't try anything," He reluctantly replied.

He turned away from Taro and walked into the classroom. Mazo noticed Amber sitting, empty seats on both sides. Mazo walks towards her and sits to her right, smiling for a split-second then averting his gaze towards Taro, his expression switching to a more 'warning' one.

Not one to really enjoy the idea of the teleport function, Emerald decided to walk to class. She had left English a little later than others, struggling slightly to come up with five hundred words to explain something that could better be explained in a few sentences. Nevertheless, when she did leave, Amber seemed to be talking to the girl she had sat beside in English, and it was clear it was better if she didn't wait and simply went to class on her own.

She entered the classroom, quickly noting two things. One was that the teacher seemed sound asleep at his desk; hopefully he would wake up before they would have to try and wake him, or maybe it would be better if he was asleep. A whole class of nothing? It would be a nice break from English, anyway. Second note was that the chairs were set up in a circle in the middle of the room. Even thought Emerald had never been in what one would call a conventional classroom, she could still figure out what it meant.

Amber and Darrien were seated close to each other in the classroom. It had been a while since she'd spent time with Darrien. "It's good we're able to talk now, isn't it?" Emerald said with a smile. "Sometimes such rules can be suffocating." It was clear everyone seemed relieved about the difference in environment. She idly hoped it was alright, sitting between them as she did.
