 A teaser trailer for Tsutomu Hanabusa's Sadako 3D has been added to YouTube. The screenplay for Sadako 3D was written by Yoshinobu Fujioka and Hanabusa, based on the forthcoming novel S (Esu) by Kôji Suzuki. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on official website) Satomi Ishihara, Kôji Seto, Tsutomu Takahashi, Shôta Sometani, Hikari Takara, Yûsuke Yamamoto, and Ryôsei Tayama. Here's a description of Sadako 3D from the production: "13 years after the original Ring movie, Sadako returns to the big screen in 3D! ¶ Akane is a high school teacher who hears a rumor from her students that there is actual footage on the Internet of someone's suicide. The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide. Akane does not believe the rumor at first, but when one of her female students dies after viewing the footage, she and her boyfriend Takanori are fatefully drawn into the horror that has been created by the man who appears in the suicide footage, Kashiwada. ¶ Kashiwada's intention is to create chaos in the world by bringing back Sadako and the power of her curse. Now Akane has to fight against Sadako and Kashiwada to save the lives of herself and Takanori." Kadokawa Pictures (Kadokawa Shoten Co. Ltd. / K.K. Intercontinental Video Limited (IVL) is scheduled to release Sadako 3D on 3D + 2D Blu-ray (region A, English subtitles) and 2D DVD (NTSC, region free, English subtitles) in Hong Kong on October 17th; the Blu-ray and DVD are now available for pre-order from DDDHouse.com (Haus Ltd.).

 Above is a sales poster for Hanabusa's Sadako 2 3D (Sadako 3D 2). Here's a synopsis for Sadako 2 3D from Kadokawa Pictures: "Several years have passed since the 'cursed video clip' incidents. There is a mysterious outbreak of multiple deaths, but the cause is unknown. At the same time, there are many incidents of disappearance. ¶ Perhaps it is an outbreak of some new kind of virus, or intentional terrorist activity? During the ongoing investigation, it is established that there is some kind of relationship to the 'cursed video clip' incidents that occurred a few years earlier... ¶ A mysterious little girl holds the key to solving the story. Does this little girl have some kind of connection to Sadako? ¶ When all of the incidents are linked as one, the ultimate extent of the mystery is revealed."
