Here's a trailer for the new Dario Argento movie if anyone wants to see it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDxdtetSxOc....com/node/39081 I never skip a new Argento movie, but this one really looks like it's...sort of unnecessary. -------------------- Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/DBGaston

As with many Youtube videos, it was too dark for me to really tell what was going on. As a trailer, it was done in the insulting modern style where no shot lasts more than a second. Epileptics beware.

It looks like an Argento directed remake of THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.

It looks fine to me for a trailer that Argento probably didn't have much control over.
I'll decide whether GIALLO was (un)necessary to see after I actually see it. This post has been edited by Michael Blanton on Nov 15 2008, 01:34 PM |

Oh man, the reviews have not been kind to this one. I've seen several that say it is "hilarious" when it is supposed to be serious. What in the world happened to Argento?

Here's a couple of positive and one mixed review.

I agreed with the "unintentionally hilarious" opinions at first, but to be honest the longer the film went on, the more unsure I got. By the end, I was actually beginning to believe Argento was genuinely poking fun at the more OTT aspects of the giallo genre. Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I'd like to watch it again from the beginning with that in mind.

Hmm, doesn't really sound like I've missed much by avoiding Juno. This post has been edited by Doran Gaston on Sep 4 2009, 12:57 PM -------------------- Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/DBGaston
