QUOTE
I couldn't help thinking disparaging thoughts when in the accompanying legacy promo featurette, Polanski talked about how great it was in America, you could pretty much indulge your every desire - karate, fencing, fast cars.

Polamski's sexual activities throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including his interest in underaged girls, have been well documented in several books and articles. Suzanna Leigh has some very unflattering things to say about him in her autobiography.

She also claims that Lawrence Harvey drank blood to keep his strength up.

Holy shit, Gore.

Ah, he's still a great interview.

And..quite bluntly honest.

Gore is talking like he's got nothing left to lose and is willing to spill all. He could supply a precious "Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown" Hollywood noir dimension to the proceedings should he choose to...having heavily hinted, outright said, how much in the middle of it all he was and how little he cares for the present interpretation. Is he offering himself up as a witness, or just spouting off incontinently? Inquiring minds want to know.

Here comes the dough. Wonder how much the U.S. wants in order to let Polanski go?

From that bastion of hot movie news and research, the IMDB:

Significant' Cash Bail Offer to be Filed in Roman Polanski Case

A French lawyer representing director Roman Polanski reveals that a new "very, very significant" cash amount will be offered for the director's bail on Monday, according to a new report. The Associated Press reports that attorney Herve Temime told a French radio station on Sunday that the 76-year-old's latest bail offer would be in cash, after Swiss authorities rejected a previous bail offer last Friday that was not a cash offer. Temime also told the radio station that Polanski would accept any decision on extradition "whatever it is," adding that the filmmaker would not act "like a fugitive," says the AP. Polanski was arrested in Zurich on September 26 for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977. After pleading guilty, he fled the U.S. in 1978.

I am so not going to make that joke. That's right, even I have my standards.

Breitbart offered this amazing paragraph from the court on him getting bail:
QUOTE
"The 76-year-old appellant is married and the father of two minors," the court said as it considered Polanski's offer of a cash bail secured by his apartment in Paris. "It can be assumed that as a responsible father he will, especially in view of his advanced age, attach greater importance to the financial security of his family than a younger person."
