Carla Gugino guested last night as a tough and charming U.S. Marshal from Miami named Karen Goodall*koffSisco*. I (again) almost wept that ABC gave KAREN SISCO only ten episodes. Gugino had terrific chemistry with Olyphant, and I'm sure she'll be returning. Also, anytime Nick Searcy as Art gets out of the office and his own subplot, it's gold (remember his showdown with the Oxygenator last year).

On the Onion's review of the episode, they claim that it was a one-off appearance.

There is probably hope for a return - in the documentary for season one on Blu-ray the producer mentions Boyd Crowder was originally written to die in the first chapter until they got a look at what had been filmed, and look what happened to him.

Not this season:

So we wonÕt see her again this season?

No, sheÕs doing a play on Broadway. We had a small window.
