Can anyone identify the films stills on the from of this UK video release of Larry Cohen's See China and Die?

The woman with the pink blanket(?) looks like Lisa Bonet to me, but I just can't place which film the still could be from. The old lady being strangled must surely be from an Italian giallo or horror film, but god knows where the guy lying on the floor comes from.
