When I heard how this was an idea, I was mad. You know why? Because that's all it is. An idea. Nothing was done with it, thanks very much to Nick. angry.gif

And I definitely would have really loved to watch this series! Helga is my all-time favorite HA character and I always wanted to watch the episodes with her as the main character. And happily for me, there's a lot of those. tongue.gif

I mean, while we're shown a little sneak peeks into Helga's life, The Patakis would seriously explore it. There would probably be more flashbacks to her childhood, and well, we'd just see what Helga's everyday life is like.

I don't really know much about this supposed-to-be series, but wasn't it supposed to be set a few years in the future? That would've been interesting. We'd see if Helga changes her look (I mean, she can't wear pig-tails for the rest of her life, and she looks really good with a ponytail), whether her obsession with Arnold has subsided a bit...You know, stuff like that.

Either way, it would have been quite an interesting series, I think. cool.gif

I hate having no time to post... *sigh* this threads are really interesting! sad.gif

Anyway, I'm just gonna say what I know about this supposed-to-be series:

* They were set during Helga's teen years. She was 15, as a matter of fact.
* Arnold would no longer live in Hillwood. He moved to San Lorenzo, but keeps in touch with his friends from the city.
* Helga would write a letter to Arnold everyday, but she'd never send it. This strange ritual would replace her shrine and all the Arnold-stalking.
* Olga would go back to live in Hillwood in order to go after her dream: become an actress.
* I'm not sure about this one, but I think Arnold gave her his blue cap and she would use it all the time.

hmm... I can't remember anything else, but I'll come back with more (probably).
See ya!

Oh! That would explain why in this site dedicated to The Patakis, Helga's drawn wearing a blue cap. XD

Darn. I would really have loved to watch this series. But I don't know how I'd feel if there was no Arnold nearby... sad.gif

I'm sorry to say that I wouldnt be able to take the series. sad.gif Seeing Helga and the rest of the gang as grownup is too much for me. I luv them as fourth graders and It hard to imagine them all grown up. Especially the part about Arnold not being in there. I think Arnold complete Helga and she complete Arnold. It wont be right separating them. The truth is I'm kinda glad and kinda not that they didnt have the series and the Jungle movie because it so hard to imagine them different and I cant let go of who they are now. It feel like they are going to be a completely different people. But I guess they all hav to grow up sometime and I'll have to except it. Through I'm still mad at Nick for ending the show like that. THey should make more episodes angry.gif

Well, I suppose so... But still, wouldn't you wonder what they'd be like?

But anyways..I'm not particularly sad that they didn't make this series; I'm more upset about the fact that they didn't make the Jungle Movie...That would've completed the series properly (I hope) instead of leaving it hanging with a cliffhanger...

Yeah, Nick should've let Hey Arnold have more episodes. dry.gif

I'm not sure about the OC drama, but it would have been a great series...

Like Angelic said, though... I'm a lot more upset about them not making the JM. The Patakis were surely gonna be wicked awesome, but the second movie was—is just necessary.
