I just got my copy in the mail yesterday. A very nice and 'different' WFN book than what has come before. I especially liked his included sketches and artwork. I had never seen so many of his drawings nicely compiled into a single volume.

I just got my copy in the mail yesterday.  A very nice and 'different' WFN book than what has come before.  I especially liked his included sketches and artwork.  I had never seen so many of his drawings nicely compiled into a single volume.

The drawings are really great! Bill at one point in his life had worked as a professional Hallmark card artist. This book is so different than any other Nolan book in that it showcases a lot of Bill's other talents - talents that many of his fans either didn't know about or had never seen published before!

I'm making my way through ILL MET story by story, & I'm enjoying it greatly.

I had the pleasure & privilege of seeing the originals of many of these drawings in person at Bill's place in Bend last May; I'm glad to now have copies to keep. His drawing style is a lot like his writing: deft, economical, & free-wheeling.

Great cover & book design, too.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. applause.gif
