I went on Wikipedia and read why some people think ToS is connected to ToP. Are there any other reasons besides the ones displayed on Wikipedia as to how they're connected? Not that I don't believe there connected, I'm just curious.

Pretty much, that's about it. They share the same map, they have Lloyd's weapons as ancient artifacts, and that Martel and Yggdrasill both appear.
Also, Dhaos looks like Yggdrasill in one form... -------------------- wheee

Top and ToS are connected because ToS was a prequel. In ways. I've read the timeline thing on Tale-Central that has ToS,ToP,and ToP Narikiri Dungeon.

Also, it may be minor, but there is virtually no discrimination against half elves in the game outside of Ymir/Heimdall. This could indicate that Lloyd and friends suceeded in un-brainwashing the world. Actually, the fact that there is discrimination inside of Ymir/Heimdall pretty much shows that the two are connected. I'm pretty sure that the elf elder said that half-elves had done something horrible in the past, leading to their banishment from the forest. That would be regarding Mithos and his betrayal of pretty much the whole world.

The tree died because Lloyd wouldn't be around for ever to give it some loving.
And the reason they don't meet Lloyd and co in the past is because they only go a hundred years in the past....I think, whereas ToS is set at least 1000 years before ToP. Plus you have to realise that ToP was the first Tales game made...so Lloyd and co weren't even created....it was made in 1995 afterall....or was it 96? -------------------- ZAROS WARUDER! |
