Highest Hit-Combo!

This should be interesting. What's your highest hit-combo in Tales of Symphonia?
Mine is 115... I can't get any higher. Almost every battle I get around 80-90, sometimes a 100, but I can't get passed my record.. I use Prism Stars (Unison Attack Combination: Ray, Tidal Wave) After getting a 60-hit combo, I release my Unison Attack. (Omega Tempest, Triple Kick, Tidal Wave, Ray)
You got to figure around 110 hits or something.. Maybe it's my techniques..

My highest is 353. Used hourglass, kicked some tail, ended it with a unison and used Prism Stars.

7000+ hits

Just abuse multiplayer and usion.

1245 is my highest

Highest in the world is something like 100000.

damn i wonder how u would get that?

I remember watching a boring vid with a 20000+ Combo...... I guessing that one was made by someone with patience..... Alot of it.

Okies I give you lot the secret but I doubt you would achieve it. Step 1: Get action replay for it to be easy. Step 2: Use Lloyd as main. Step 3: Get and equip nebilim WITHOUT UNLOCKING POWER BY KILLING ABYSSION. Step 4(hard bit): glitch yourself to get attack stats to about -3000 so you do one damage every shot. Step 5: Go to a powerful enemy area. Step 6: Get into battle and keep using sword rain. (1 damage per hit.) Step 7: have friend keep using hourglass with different character.(Thats why you need action replay its hard enough finding one.)

Thats how you do it if you fight an enemy with 100,000+ health and do 1 damage per hit well its fairly obvious cos the hourglasses dont let your combos break.

Dont your combos automatically end after using a unison attack?

But yeah, to get some really high combos, the best thing to do would be to use multiplayer, and a lot of non-magical (dosent have to charge the attack) character's. (Your friends would have to be good at the game though ). And of course, whatever hourglasses you have. Then once you start messing up, quickly end it with a unison

Oh, and if you're able to, use Falcon's Crest with Lloyd on the enemy (make sure someone is still attacking it before and after the attack, so you dont lose the combo); That could give you a decent increase on your combo.


Should I be the one to say this stuff though? Probably not... my highest combo is 54 xD

Edit: Nevermind... Falcon's Crest dosent do too much more combo than like sword rain attacks (It does like 13-17 hits... still good). However, make sure not to do anything that causes the enemy to fall down, like beast... that can easily kill the combo right there.

Yup, they do.

Multiplayer is probably necessary, because Tales uses like, old school Tales AI so it's not the best for getting combos.

Falcon's Crest is too strong though, that's the problem. It'll most likely kill anything you hit.


Personally, just abuse Lloyd's exskills, and use the magic attack cheap thingy for an infinite one(I've gotten like, 50 hit combos with a single person just attacking that way; the only reason it stopped was because the enemy fell down or died... I forget. D:)

Yeah, that's a nice idea. Combine that idea of abusing Lloyd's exskills with Raine constantly hitting the enemy with Spell Cancel, and Regal doing his crazy combo (What was it? It was like Cresent Moon Kick, and then that one where he dashes down to the ground), you'd like never be able to mess up your combo ... expecially if you manage to get the enemy to the edge of the feild.

Just set all of your allies strategies to "Attack Same," and just hope that the enemy is stunned long enough that you can use multiple hits on it XD

Unfortunately enough, my highest combo is somewhere around 50. But I havn't gotten far enough in my save file to actually have gotten good attacks yet. Best attacks I have are beast and tempest XD

I dunno, mine's like... 40...

We got around 60 or so in Abyss though, which we got on the 2nd battle with Sync, it was funny.

I think my highest was like 65 using Lloyd only. >_>;

5x Hit Combo -> Sword Rain -> Tiger Blade -> Sword Rain: Alpha -> Raining Tiger Blade -> Stun -> Repeat

Then again, I haven't played the game for a whole year. I'm 100x better now than when I first played it...

Try again, and try using allies. I didn't do combos well at all until I got my allies into it. But, the AI is still terrible, so they run away half-way into the combo and it gets broken. >.<

I think namco specifically made it that way so that combos don't last as long as you want them to D<
