Very nice and creative character designs on Spada's part. Ricardo looks predictable; the average deep character that covers up their emotion with pure strength.

In any which case, it's nice to see Tales is finally going Industrial. Seriously, we need more industrial rpgs; they never get any love.

Spada = Lloyd with beret.

Ricardo = extremely dull and boring badass type a la Kratos and Leon.

Awesome. ToI is looking pretty impressive I must say. I just hope it sees the light of day outside of Japan. Official Nintendo Magazine over here mentioned it in a top 100 games to look forward to, so at least they acknowledge it.

It's looking very impressive. And, Spada is spiffy... his character design is awesome!

I wouldn't say Ruca is plain, but, he's different. He's more well kept than other heroes, it seems.

But he's wearing the blandest colours ever.

Purple jacket, black trousers and brown boots and has white hair. He reminds me of Trunks from Dragonball Z (XD DBZ).

That doesn't mean I don't like him, nor does it mean I don't think he'll deal PWNage on a grand scale....just compare him to someone like Spada who really stands out with bright colours.

Also Spada= my new hero.

Yeah, but Kratos was cool, this guy only has one belt where as Kratos had a bunch, probably some belts under those too! Maybe a little overkill, but that's why this forum isn't called "Kratos owns fayt".

Ricardo is more of a Kratos, as it says he's a "Mercenary", and not a pretty boy asshole aristocrat. Spada is Lloyd x1,000,000,000.

Though Ruca seems to be like Tales of the World Warriors, because he looks like a combination of Luke and Presea. Moushuuken, and Garensen. Yeah...

The new plan seems to be make the best character not the main character and them give them the old main character's moves from previous games. Still I thought Luke's moveset was awesome and judging from the moves Ivan just said Ruca knew...his moveset seems to be even more awesome. The amounts of times I spammed Moushuuken in ND3 to beat Barbatos...jeez.

I don't know what move Garensen is though.

Garensen was also Presea's. It was just the crescent slash, he also has that other variant of it where he does it, TWICE. And Moushuuken was also Luke's. Except it was renamed "Havoc Strike" and he used his foot of death to kill things. All in all, he seems to be a male version of Presea. O_o

I could've sworn Moushuuken was a move Mary used in ToD...which is why I mentioned spamming it in ND3 against Barbatos. But when I think about it...it was Gouraiken I spammed and not Moushuuken.

Even so that is one awesome combination that Ruca has. And a male Presea with a sword >_>
