The Oceania is basically cultures in the sea, on small island chains too small to be mapped, or located along the coastlines.

As such, I have an idea- that I have posted in Keikona's bios- based off two warring factions.

The two warring factions are Keikona's species- the were-dolphin- and a predatory species called the Ospreyal. (Yes, I know. Not much variation from the word Osprey but I'm on sinus meds, it's late and I'm tired, and I wanted to get this done to get opinions.)

There had been a war between the two species going on since the two species formed. The were-dolphin were the prey and the Ospreyal were the predators. The were-dolphins only want peace while the Ospreyal want to make the were-dolphins bsically livestock- something there just to eat.

However, seeing as the were-dolphins are, for the most part, a water oriented species, the Peacekeepers took the Opsreyal- a costal land oriented species- as members.

However, the Peacekeepers never knew that the two species were in a natural war and since the Ospreyal have good knowledge of the costal regions, were positioned there to keep the peace. Meanwhile, the war continued and by the time the Peacekeepers finally realized their mistake, the were-dolphins were almost an extinct species, save for those in slavery by the Opsreyal and Keikona.
