Hayden came to the surface. His lungs begging for air. Gasping, he calmed himself down. Vacationers attempted as quickly as possible to swim in the opposite direction of him. He swiped back his blonde hair smiling in their direction as if nothing was wrong. One certain swimmer gazed back, flashing her eyelashes. Obviously single. Hayden waved slightly but dove back under the cooling water. She was just another girl. Thoughts of a fan club shot through his mind.

Having had his fun, Hayden trudged out of the water. He shook his head like a dog to get his hair from being plastered to his head. Hayden choked down a laugh as an older..very older man passed by in a Speedo.

Why?

Once on the burning hot sand he performed a quick dry with his towell before fanning it out to lay on. Slapping on his sunglasses, he was ready for a good tan. He laid on his stomach, head to the side to watch for any unaccompanied children. You could always learn from mistakes you've made in the past.

It was a beautiful sunny day outside. Wasn't too warm, nor too cold. Perfect. Frieda smiled looking about the scenery of the beach. She loved the ocean, and the soft warm sand. A slight breeze blew, her long wavy blond hair flowing through it. She wore a cute pink bikini bathing suit, carrying a bright green towel over her arms. She walked down the sandy beach, aware of the children and their families playing, and just having a great time with one another.

The gorgeous blond walked passed a man sun tanning on his towel. She smiled and released a small giggle. She layed down her towel, a good eight feet or so from him.

Hayden opened his fulgent blue eyes at the sound of a giggling passer. It was a girl no doubt with long blonde hair and she seemed to be enjoying herself. Hayden let her get situated before he introduced himself. He didn’t want to be perceived as a stalker.

“Hello there, miss,” Hayden said unexpectedly. “I’m Hayden. What might your name be?” He flashed her one of his winning smiles. He turned onto his side, facing her as he rested his head on his elbow. The blonde wore a pair of swim trunks that were bright blue, almost aqua, that had a dark granny’s apple green strip down the sides. It was by far his favorite swimsuit. The colors complimented his eyes.

Frieda layed her towel across the sand, then taking a seat upon it. She took off the hair tie around her wrist, then tieing her hair into a low ponytail, moving her hair over across her right shoulder. She faced the man as he spoke to her. She gave him a beautiful smile, giggling only slightly. "It's nice to meet you Hayden, my name's Frieda." She replied, her stunning blue eyes gazing upon him.

Hayden rubbed his hair across his face. “It’s nice to meet you, Frieda,” Mr. Calmen replied amiably. “It’s a nice day out isn’t it?” He adjusted his sunglasses that were hiding his mysterious eyes. A float soaring in the air caught his attention. Ideas filled his mind on how to get to know this Frieda better. How about swimming?

“Wanna' take a dip?" Hayden asked removing his shades, revealing his eyes. Swimming, floating together. It would be a great way to get to know her. He continued to grin as she pondered the thought.

Frieda smiled brightly at Hayden, revealing her white teeth. "It's very nice out, I'm really enjoy it out here." she said with a cute ring. She layed her legs out in front of her; leaning back on the palms of her hands. She looked over at the mysterious man, as he took his sunglasses off, revealing his bright blue eyes. She blushed instantaneously.

She released a cute giggle at his question. "Sure. I'd love to!" she replied to him sweetly, as quickly stood up. "I'll beat you there!" she said aloud, a joyful expression across her pretty face, as she ran out to the water.

Hayden laughed as he quickly sprang to his feet. He was very athletic so this wasn’t a problem, it actually made him feel better. He hastily caught up to her and smiled, but he didn’t stop running. Shortly, Hayden crashed into the waves, water spraying every where. His attempts to run now though were useless. He stopped and waited with Frieda, scheming at the exact moment. The feel of the water relaxed and refreshed his muscles. Hayden laughed as he splashed Frieda. In a second, he was already under the water swimming in circles avoiding her.

Frieda laughed as Hayden caught up with her, then beating her to the water. She jumped a little as he splashed the chilling water on her. She smiled brightly, enjoying the amount of fun the two were having. She attempted to splash him in return, but couldn't as he swam under the water avoiding her. She had a plan though. She stood, not even lowering herself into the water, waiting for him to come up so she could splash him.

Hayden swam around Frieda like a shark during Feeding Frenzy. The water forming a current around her body waist down. If you were under water you would see a weak grin on his face. One mixed with exhaustion and cheerfulness…not pretty.

“Wo-,” Shock and confusion started in his toes and easily made its way up. The Frieda stood, arms arched in the air, waiting to splash. Without thinking Hayden stood there like a good sport…and to be nice. His arms were spread like he was exercising as drops of seawater dripped off.

“Come on. Hit,” Hayden paused, “Wait, no, splash me. There we go.”

Frieda smiled sweetly at the handsome Hayden. He was really nice standing there, wanting her to hit splash him with the icy cold water. She placed her hands on her hip, gazing at him with the cutest expression. "Hmmm," she began to think, "I don't know if I want to... You're too nice." she complimented the handsome man.

The beautiful blond ponderd this thought for a moment, realizing she hadn't had her chance to splash him back, she couldn't just let this oppurtunity go! But then again... What good is revenge? Plenty of fun, that's what. She cupped her hands in the water, then splashing the chilling water upon him. Before he could even get the chance she was already off running away from him. A little game of "Tag" wouldn't hurt anyone, and obviously he was it.

"You're it!" she called out to him with a cute giggle, and a pretty smile on her face.

Hayden shut his eyes tightly as Frieda pondered the thought. He knew deep down she’d do it. It was to good of an opportunity. So there he stood looking like a fool to strangers as a girl splashed him. He didn’t mind though. It was quite fun.

Suspiciously, he opened one eyes just enough to see out of.

Heh? Where was she?

Hayden “saluted” to shade his eyes so he could search for Frieda. She had swam off after she had splashed him. Smart. Out of the corner of his eye he could see her. Her long blonde hair was easy to find in the sunlight. He continued to act mystified and confused. When the time was right, he'd go in on his prey.

As soon as she glanced away, he made his move. A fast one at that. Hayden dove at her with his winning smile spread across his soaking wet face. It was as if he was in slow motion as he came down from mid-air. He missed her by an inch, on purpose. Who just goes and dives into a girl the first day they met?

Frieda watched as he seemed to be looking around. He still looked confused, so she gave a bright smile. Just as quickly, though, he was moving, again. It was like she barely saw a thing and he was suddenly landing in the water beside her. She laughed and tried to swim back.

"Hayden? Hayden, are you okay?" she called, just to make sure. She looked back toward him with a concerned yet cute expression on her pretty face.

Hayden rose to the top of the water floating on his stomach. His blonde hair was matted together and floating with the constant waves. Hayden had played this trick on his mother many times when he was a boy. He liked to call it the "Dead Man Float Attack." Him and a friend had made up the name one summer afternoon in their favorite pond. Amazingly, he could still remember the tale to this day.

After a minute Hayden ran out of air, and he didn't want to scare Frieda that bad. At a random moment he flung himself back up with a mischevious grin on his face. "Yeah, I'm alright," Hayden exclaimed later. "Just having some fun."

Frieda watched for a moment. She saw Hayden float to the top, face in the water. She gasped, afraid that he was injured, or possibly even dead! She didn't bare to think such thoguhts, she swam over to him, and just as she reached him, he brought his gorgeous blond locks out of the water, and smiled at her mischeviously. She just about died at that moment. Having been scared terribly by him. "Having some fun!?," she said to him, "You saced half to death!" she said thinking of what couldv'e happened.

The young blond stood beside Hayden as she spoke to him. She was kind, thoguh, as she did so. She doesn't tend to become angry or such over things, she can try as hard as she wants, but it just doesn't happen. "I'm sorry... I just worry alot at tmes. A bad habbit, I know..." she told him, not wanting to make eyes contact with his handsome-ness. She blushed in embaressment. How could I worry so much?... He was only having some fun. she thought, as she gazed at the water.

[[ sorry it took me so long ]]

"Well I better not scare you again because you'd be dead if you were half scared to death with that trick," Hayden grinned as he lightly splashed her again. He loved to play tricks on people and scare them. Sometimes he did it a bit too much. Hayden unexpectedly dove under the water, water splashing everwhere like a merman and a mermaid. He opened his big blue eyes to study the small schools of varied fish. Sea shells littered the ocean floor along with a few grumpy and fiesty crabs. Hayden pranced around the bottom as he scooped up one of the largest shells out of the bunch. Better yet, it was a strange burnt orange color with a bit of red streaks on the opposite side.

"Whoo," Hayden said returning to the surface. He held the shell under the water to give it a quick cleaning. "Look at this," He said excitedly. The shell didn't glimmer in the sunlight but the light seemed to pass through it. "Quite odd isn't it."
