Oh look, I actually remembered what operation I was on. XD
But seriously, this mission is bugging me, and I only just started it. Okay, so I understand the bit about pulling out the thorns and removing the membrane, but the thing is, I'm obviously doing it wrong, because every time I remove a bit, it just spreads everywhere. Maybe I'm missing some clue; that happens a lot. But all I need to know is how to tell if I'm doing it right so that I don't kill the guy in 30 seconds. >_< What's the trick to this operation? There are two reasons why the membrane might be spreading:
1) Don't isolate any part of the membrane. If you do, it will multiply. 2)If there are two or more thorns next to each other and there is room for the membrane to spread, then it will spread. Hm, that's kind of what my friend said when I was showing her this weekend ('cept she was being a horribly backseat gamer about it and driving me crazy XD).
I think I'm just being way too slow about it. I honestly spent three minutes removing thorns/membranes and got hardly closer to finishing. At any rate, yes, that helps. I'll try it again later today.
