I. Acceptance of Imperial Empire's Terms of Service
As a registered member of this message board, you are entitled to accept and abide by all of the following terms of service. With that, being an Imperial Empire citizen, you must respect and comply with these regulations for the ensuring that you will not face strict punishment. If you wish to continue on staying a constant member of this community, you are confirmed for accountability of acknowledgement and agreement to Imperial Empire's forum rules. Additionally, any alteration of these citations or increase of citations may be edited into without your notification, however, we may occasionally report in the 'Imperial Times' forum of important changes to the terms of service, otherwise it will simply be modified without your consent. Therefore, we ask you to check here at least every once a month to keep you updated on anything new in this document.

II. SPAM (Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages)
If there's a common difficulty within forums, it's spam. Everybody, mostly at least, hates spam and thus, spamming in topics is restricted from Imperial Empire. If you're unaware of what spam is, the general description of it is 'stupid, pointless, annoying messages'. This involves unnecessary posts which are possibly connected to the topic however offensive in response, multiple posts where the reply content is exactly the same, minimal posts where the content is one-worded, an emotion, or very short with no real detailed opinion, and off topic posts where the content does not relate in any way to the actual topic subject. Spamming will result in a weeklong (seven day) moderation que.

III. Offensive Posting
Offensive posting is highly forbidden here at Imperial Empire. This derogatory commenting includes flaming, bashing, threatening warnings, racist/ageist/sexist intolerance, and profane cursing/swearing. These examples of insulting remarks are made to hurt someone's feelings, lower their self-esteem, and simply make fun of the victim. If you see someone attack another with offensive posts, please PM (personal message) an administrator or moderator. Or, if you're being attacked by someone with offensive posts, then please, do not attack back to create a flame war, simply PM an administrator or moderator and the person will be dealt with by us, not you. The consequence for offensive posting differs in the level of harshness, however the typical detention for this misbehavior is the restriction of posting messages on Imperial Empire for up to a week (7 days).

IV. Personal Messaging Abuse
PMing (personal messaging) is a system used for private, and "one-to-one" communication for conversation out of the eyes of the public. Though this system of sending and receiving secluded messages is a handy source of contacting people, the PM system is easy to abuse. The abuse of personal messaging other members of Imperial Empire however, is restricted from the board. Personal messaging abuse involves PM advertisement, harassment, and even sometimes transfer of malicious software to cause harm. The exploitation of personal messaging misconduct will not be tolerated; if you have recently or beforehand been PM abused, please direct yourself to an administrator or moderator, and the perpetrator will be dealt with personally by Imperial Empire authority. The consequence of personal messaging abuse will restrict you from usage of the PM system, through the transition of being a member to a being a 'Member (PM)', which is a special user group that forbids personal messaging.
