I am offering to re-do the IceyGames website. Heres what I was thinking.

I now know enough PHP to make some pretty complicated websites, as you can see from this.
So, I think I can take it upon myself to make a fully working GM website, where it would display games, graphics, and other stuff created by our members.

Heres how it would work:
Basically, to submit, for example, a game, you would need to have first posted a topic for the game. If there is no topic of the game here, then the website will not allow you to upload one onto the website. This way, to get your game on the website, you must register here. I can code all this no problem.

The website would be like a showcase for all of the games/graphics.

What do people say? (I know the only people who will talk here is Muffin Man, and possibly Icey, but whatever.)

Hey, but you started it and were a great admin from the start, right? smile.gif Besides, giving suggestions on the website, having an opinion in how the forum is run and everything is great.

The system I plan on using isn't fool proof, so we may need some mods/admins to check games as they are submitted, to make sure the topic IS actually posted here.

Update

OK, I got a bit of time to work on the website today, and here what I have so far.
This is just an example of what the games page could look like. None of the links work or anything.

Update

The Admin CP now works (parts of it), and it is also now possible to post games. To post games, go to the Creation Show Off forum, and there should be a little message at the top directing you to the game posting page.

Also, Admins must review the games before they are added to the game page.

OK, Well, I was a little bored, and wanted to see what I could do in Paint.net with IceyGames graphics. So, I made the new banner (which can be changed, if we don't like it), and then I made a new design for the website.

Now, I like this design more - it looks more professional - but it no longer matches the website skin. If we went with this new design, we could later change the skin, or not.

Anyways, here it is:

Thanks Icey smile.gif

EDIT:

Okay, to just give people a better idea of what this new skin would feel/look like, here is a coded example. I didn't take the time to put all of the features into it yet, as I don't want to spend time doing that if we don't end up using this new website skin/template.
