blade staggered forward grabbing a spare gas canister from the melter

"hmm" he did the same to that canister and threw it into the parasitic bording craft... as he approached saber he growled "next time.... YOU go and get shot...."

blade turned into red mist once more and dissapeared... and instantly saber spat up blood... holes and gashes sppearing al lover his body from where blade had been hit...

[Satern]

Satern had fled up between floors, after making sure that each area was holding it's own, seeing if everywhere was holding the gelfs back. The cat-like creature. A mixture of a sabertooth tiger and some kind of demented panther threaded itself into existance not far from the hatch that Blade had just eradicated of Gelfs. The creature frowned and looked back to where Saber stood, bleeding and choking. It opened it's mouth and Saterns distinct accent, just deeper and more growling than before spoke.
''Your wounded...'' She walked up to him, her paws dropping heavily onto the metal, no longer attempting to hide her presence. As if trying naturaly to make herself unmenacing, though as she got closer the twisted features of various animals that seemed to make up whatever she was was not really a comforting sight. ''It would seem you are almost as badly wounded as those who you were fighting.''

saber growled "thats 40 kills..." he winced coughing a little and got to his feet.... fighting to stand upright he flicked out his claws and snarled
"iam not finished yet...."

........ 'thud' saber fell ontop of satern "...hold that thought"

She reached up her paw and caught him with her arm, she growled slightly but seemed to hold back herself from some mean impulse instead she pushed him to the side of her arm and moved along so he was against her side.
''Get up I'll take you to the bar.''

saber growled and jumped up... "i can walk" he limped horrificaly to the door and banged on the metal...

"... thanks" he said weakly as he collapsed on the door waiting for it to open

[Satern]

Satern snarled and gnashed her teeth at him.
''Fine be a stubborn smeg head, if you die now it saves me having to worry about you later.'' She narrowed her eyes and jumped apparently straight up fading out of the corridor.

The door opened and Kryten and Rimmer stood guns aimed at Saber.
''Oh it's you again.''

saber coughed up blood
"thats 40 kills... that makes me a winner... whats my prize" he flumped to the floor heavily

[Satern]

''Do you think we're supposed to help him, is he a registared crew member yet or not?''
''Rimmer this is not the big Red.'' Said Jordy giving him a thick ear. ''Help Kryten move him over here.''
''But what if...''
''Satern will get mad at you if you don't.''
''That's a good point, you help Kryten, she did make me outrank you afterall.''
''Well only... Well it wasent reasonable and you know that.''
''Really, I think she was following space core directive 995. Don't play wriggler with the captains partner it'll get you smegged.'' He grinned smugly at Jordy as she swept past him to help Kryten move Saber to the bench.
''Sometimes I hate you Arnie.''

saber dripped onto the floor... "uugh......... blade... shut up and stop bragging"

he gripped his head and groaned

[Satern]

Jordy and Kryten lifted him up and Jordy layed his head down on one of the cushions she had borrowed from the VIP area of the bar.
''I don't know if medical help is going to be enough for him.'' Commented Rimmer who stood with his arms folded not far away, watching the others.
''Arnie make your self useless and go get a glass of water will you.'' snapped Jordy.

~hoists saber over his shoulder and drags him to the medibay killing 10 gelfs on the way

[Satern]

Sabers in the medibay being tended to by the over enthusiastic person with a headache.

Satern has made her way to the central control room where she now stands randomly stabbing at controll buttons.

''Now listen carefully Satern.'' Said Jilly. ''There are a lot of fail safes to stop the nano-bots on the outer hull of the ship from doing over active things, but I think if you give the nano's just this peice of code it could allow them to slice off the couppled ships.''

''Something sounds a bit dodgy about that.'' Grumbled Satern, pressing yet more buttons aimlessly, somewhere in the back of the room a chip exploded.

''Well yes, if it goes wrong the whole ship could be turned into one lump of useless metal. Extremely unlikely though given all the other failsafes.''
