Below is some information you might need to RP around the two schools.

After the war, much of Hogwarts was severely damaged or destroyed, and with the addition of the University, a few rather important layout changes took place in our castle. In attaching the University to the already existing Hogwarts, some rooms were moved around to facilitate movement and allow for easier access for the students in both schools. What follows is a brief description of the new school layout that will help you when trying to understand your new surroundings.

The Ground Floor are shared spaces for all university students and staff, here find the Student Union, Bulletin Board and the Dean's List. From the Ground Floor, University students head right through a large, decorated archway. This will lead them to a smaller hall from which they can navigate the main University building. To head to Hogwarts Great Hall from the Entrance Hall, all students may turn left through the archway, where tables are divided among Hogwarts houses and University students.

Other shared spaces:

The kitchens are likewise a shared space, as all students dine together in the Great Hall. Located in the basement of Hogwarts, University students will have to fully enter Hogwarts castle to reach the kitchens. The Hogwarts staff did not believe the kitchens needed to be moved to accommodate students because, of course, they are not an area that students have any real business entering. ;)

The Alastor Moody Library is now located in the Fred Weasley Commons and located between school. Because Hogwarts already had an extensive and reputable Library, renovations were made to allow for entrances both from the Hogwarts side and the University side. Students from both schools work together and share the resources available in our library.

The Remus Lupin Hospital Wing is located in the Fred Weasley Commons. It has been expanded slightly to accommodate the anticipated needs of both Hogwarts and University students. Having a central location, it is easily accessible to students from both schools.

The Hedwig Memorial Owlery is the final shared space between the University and Hogwarts school and found in the Fred Weasley Commons. It is also considered shared space between University and Hogwarts students.

Note: when role-playing in a shared space: . When role-playing in any of these shared areas, such as those found in the Fred Weasley Commons, students from both schools may interact, start, and join role-plays with any student no matter what school you're from, we encourage interaction.
