Hi, I just stumbled across this DB and since I'm doing Sonlight 9, I thought I'd join. This board does look pretty stagnant though (I didn't exactly mean dead), so I hope I might be able to liven it up a little bit.
 I'm in 10th grade, and I have a ton of interests, like playing piano, reading, writing, listening to music, being with my friends, church activities, the very seldom but prized horseback riding, etc. As for school work, I love history, religion, English, and Latin (though don't tell my teacher, a homeschooling mom, that it's a dead language or she'll make you sing "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" in Latin!). Sorry, I'm not a big science or math person although I love exploring my own interests in science whenever they come up. great! Glad someone else joined. You are right, I am probably the only one who does anything on here, but maybe some others will stumble across this DB too! Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Katie,
What week are you currently doing? Basically, we (I) just keep it current for literature stuff, but the original idea was for history stuff too. I ask Nate to do two "journals" a week on whatever book we're on. It can be on this DB or something written, but he usually prefers the DB, if I can only keep ahead of him. Is you mom/dad interested in posting and stuff? Hope you enjoy the DB and maybe some others will join us for the last few months. Mrs. Saint |
