yeah Dorney was CRAZY that day. I rode like four rides with the ladyfriend: Possessed, Steel Force, Dominator, and the wooden coaster, forget the name. As far as the water section, stuck with the walk-ons such as the Wave Pool, Water Works, etc... We did wait and got on both lazy rivers though. They were awesome.

That looks loike tons of fun except the crowds. Dorney to me always looked like a blast as well as Idlewood.

I used to go past Idlewild on the way to my grandparents when I was growing up. We never stopped though.

Nice pics! Too bad Dorney was crowded. Out of the two times I was there, the rides weren't all that busy but the waterpark was packed until later in the day.

I didn't mind the crowds too much, sometimes it got annoying, especially when waiting for food lines. The girlfriend was sorta pissed though, she kept pretty much yelling at people to get out of her way. ha.

Idlewild is pretty fun, just not a lot to do thrill ride-wise. Pretty much spent the whole day swimming, going down the water slides, etc....

Next year we'll likely take King's Dominion & Kennywood trips. And of course, another Hershey trip without a doubt smile.gif also taking a Outer Banks trip next year.........

I would love to go to all of those parks. I've driven past quite a few but never actually went in.

I hate crowds anywhere, even at a baseball stadium. I just don't like them for some reason. I guess they make me feel confined and obviously crowded laugh.gif

^^I just got back from fishing in the the Outer Banks and it was really fun. Exept the fishing and 10ft seas. And King's Dominian is a blast! If you can go early in the year and in the middle of the week there are no crowd what so ever. We went in and got on Volcano twice then other then Volcano everything in the entire park including water park was a walk-on. Now I sugest going two days because theres a cheap nice hotel right across from it, you can do the water park, and the new giga is going to be sick. Just make sure whatever you do try every ride. Some will suprise you like BLSC. I rode Drop Tower 25 times in two days so you know thats fun. Oh and the new giga is going to be sick!
