The white haired boy was bored, though and he sighed slightly as he tapped the end of his mechanical pencil against the sketch pad before him, waiting for his food. Grease was good for the soul. Well, he was physically fit anyway, azure eyes staring down at the still life he was drawing, which was the view from the window...with a twist. It was given a haunted, gothic twist, sort of like the dreams he had been having, ever since he came here. Not like Senel wanted to go home any time soon anyway.
He slouched, glancing up at the girl who had just entered. Huh. He'd seen her around the campus. That was another thing weighing on his mind. College. For the wind. Senel could have snorted. Maybe Uncle would pay off and give him legacy so he could get into any school of his choice.
Because in all other subjects other than art and choir, he sucked. Royally. There were no other words to describe it. He couldn't formulate his thoughts to write an essay, numbers and sciences flew over his head. Senel was a winner when it came to school, he'd tell you.
Jacqueline was seated near him too. Damn, where had he seen her before, other than just around the school...? Oh well. He let himself shrug, taking a sip of his pepsi, because there so was a difference between coke and pepsi. Actually, there wasn't, he lied.

Was she /staring/ at him? Well, he had done the same, but he merely nodded slightly, raking a hand through his hair, as if he'd tame it. That was Senel, but to which he leaned back, letting his eyes narrow on the project that was before him. Maybe it'd be enough to get into college, but he would have opened his mouth to say something, however, he didn. That was another one of his quirks, he talked to himself. Hmph.
And there came his food, which was a chicken sandwich because Senel Noah loved chicken oh so much, as well as french fries. But it was fried chicken with cheese. What was with anorexic people, anyway? They were missing out on the finer things in life. Like chocolate. But he couldn't really think of it that way.
Was she still staring at him? Blegh.
"...hello." He finally said after a moment, but it was like pulling teeth, to him, though the one word came out calmly and ever so...friendly. Actually, it was normally toned, inquistive, if anything. Might as well not act like a bitch to people who you've never met.

"I think I've seen you somewhere before."
And to answer her brow raising action, he rose his own and the way it arched, it was as if he were a professional. Afterall, his demeanor was slightly surly. Not that he was the type he didn't speak much, it was just that he didn't know her very well, too.
Erhm...
Even he was distracted by the new party, but averted his gaze to draw some more now, headphones hanging around his neck as they played the music that suited his mood. He didn't want to go back to class when he'd have to anyway. Maybe he'd cut. Senel had that problem sometimes. Jay wasn't here to keep him on his toes now, so maybe he'd call him tonight, yes, he certainly would.
Cell phones were wondrous, after all.

Hm, well, this was something else. Senel merely nodded slightly. "I notice a lot of things people don't normally see." It was true. When one was in the back and the 'outcast' he watched and observed, finding out things, even if it was at random sometimes. But he intertwined his fingers, watching Jacqui now as he smirked a bit, the ghost of one.
No pun intended, to say the least.
"Senel."
Here it came, the 'dotdotdot-ing' at his name, followed the the 'that's your name?'
He got a lot of that and often. Senel was a strange name, but then again, he was part of a strange array of family.

"That's right, Senel."
Senel Noah, amazing and craptastic at the same exact time. He won at life. No, really, he did! Actually, that was a lie too. Did we mention Senel had a very odd stream of conciousness? This was all his thoughts at once, kind of like that Green Day song and man, did he like Green Day. The boy blinked a bit at her? Cool name? Right then. Either some people just said that to be nice or they really meant it. Most of the time, they just did things to be nice. That's how first meetings went all the time.
"Well, thank you. You'd be the third person who thought that."
In his entire life. That's Uncle. He'd give a thumbs up to his uncle, if he were here now. Actually being the black sheep with a white hair style was rather ironic in the end.

Senel was a bit confused by that look too. Okay, why was she giving him the pitying look? Wonderful. He crossed his arms as he slouched back, munching on a french fry. It was symbolic of home. Kinda, sorts. No. Absolutely not.
Abso-frickin'-lutely not. Senel had that flat look once more. Why did people try so hard when it came to talking? Funny. People tried to hard. Senel was very critical of people and that much was obvious by the way he handled himself, too as he shut his sketch pad, sliding it to the side, as if he didn't want anyone to look in it.
And of course, Uncle had to say 'oh, we're sending you to the haunted school. Good lucky.' He half wondered if anyone else knew he was haunted. Oh well, it didn't bother him. School was school, haunted or not, too.
"Very long. Oh, they died? That sucks, I'm sorry." Way to go Senel. "My parents died before I had a chance to know them."
It could always be worse. "Though I really do send you my condolences." He did mean it.
