"Condolences mean that I send you my sympathy." Though sometimes the boy didn't really mean it. When it came to parents, he did mean it, but she didn't seem to take it the way he expressed it. Were most people like this? Senel made a face, inwardly, not outwardly.

Outwardly he appeared the same as he always did, flat and angry. He expected the same tone he used to be sent right back at him, though talk of his parents didn't even bother him anymore. Not evenw hen Uncle mentioned them, too.

"You're welcome."

"I know what it means," Jaclyn shot back.
"Sorry..." She added.
"My temper is very... short."

"You didn't sound like you knew what it meant." Senel raised a brow and merely scoffed a bit. Not like he meant it in offense, but he merely rolled his eyes, taking a bite of his sandwich. Food was the cure for the hungered soul anyway. But he glanced back up at her.

She apologized.

"Heh." A smirk game to his lips, before he shook his head. "You're not the only one. I'm constantly angry." And had an amazingly short temper himself.

"Is that so?"

Senel had seemed so even headed, but apparently, he wasn't. But then again, it was her who was doing most of the talking.
"So..." Jacqueline continued.

"Very much so." She hadn't seen Senel when he was angry. That was a sight to behold, considering he didn't have a handle on it and his fists were weapons, as well as his legs. Beware, those who piss him off. "My temperment sucks." He said, matter of factly. Senel didn't sugarcoat things in the least, too.

So.

He hated that word, because that meant people were bored and bored of him specifically. Most people said that dreaded word when they were about to leave, too, not that he would have minded. He wasn't one for useless banter anyway, if people were that bored. Senel was oevr-critical of people.

Jacqui was beginning to like this boy less and less. Just because sh said a few things to try and be nice, he was seeming overcritical. It was completely unfair. She looked over her shoulder, and saw her food was at the table.
"Well, my food's here. Bye, Senel." She said, turning, and walking back to her table so that she could finally eat. But her mind was still buzzing with thoughts about Senel. Seriously, what was wrong with him? Nothing in a bad way, but he seemed... angry at times, but sweet always. Weird.

That's all he was and true, she did have very angry moment, which ruined it for him, but he merely snapped his fingers, waving to her slightly. "Enjoy." Which he was doing, because the French made American food and he liked his American food, which he was eating, pulling his pencil from his ear, scratching the pencil against the new piece of paper, too, gaze down. He didn't give very many second thoughts, though he glanced up at her once or twice.
