I haven't touched the L4D2 demo yet. I've been too hyped about RE:DC to bother about any others. I'll get around to it soon. Is it exactly like the first or did they add/change things?

You don't know anything about the game?

There are three new special infected, each of which was designed to take care of an issue with the first game; for example the spitter, which prevents camping by spitting acid, doing essentially the same job as a molotov for the infected side. Also, witches can wander around now so you have to be even more careful of them. The special infected AI is generally smarter and they collaborate a lot better in this game.

There are also uncommon infected for each campaign. Examples include riot gear zombies, which need to be killed from behind, and haz-mat zombies immune to fire.

There are melee weapons you can use instead of a pistol, and plenty of new firearms. Melee weapons are good for taking out multiple zombies surrounding you, but I don't think they're broken or anything. I usually opt for pistols, but it's plenty of fun to take a guitar to a zombie skull on occasion.

New items: boomer bile (throw at a zombie, other zombies will attack that zombie. throwing bile at a tank = good idea, throwing it at a witch = not so good idea in my experience), adrenaline shots (gives you some temporary health and allows you to do everything much faster for a while and not get slowed down by zombies as much, and defibrillators (revive dead team mates before they appear in a closet).

Also new modes, and much more gore for what that's worth. This list is by no means exhaustive but it's already long enough. Some people think there aren't enough new features to justify a sequel, I say those people are just off-put by the sequel coming out so quickly. Besides that, L4D isn't really about the features, but the memorable moments.

This sequel is basically same L4D gameplay with more content to boot. Personally I was sold when there was a guy named Nick with almost the same background as me.

I like the new cast, but I liked the protagonists from the first game more. Maybe I'm just nostalgic though (for a game I've never played, ha).

Been playing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles with Heather! Really great fun!

Also try to work in some time on Aion, but that isn't going as planned.

I've been on Aion enough lately to get to level 30 but now that the whole finding rifts thing is an absolute piss off for me, I'm taking a break unless people I know plan to play. I need help on a level 23 quest on the Elyos side and I haven't been through a rift yet.

Played some New Super Mario Bros today and it was alright I guess. Felt like I was playing a 3d version of SMB 3.

Honestly, I think he might end up being my primary character in that game. He's a redneck, but in a lovable way!

I've begun the process of revamping my entire house in Animal Crossing. It's going pretty smoothly, there's just a couple of items I need to perfect it.

EDIT: Ah dammit, I just found out that one of the items I need is a Gulliver item! I haven't even SEEN him in this game!! I don't suppose anyone has a spare six Plate Armors, do they? Or eight, that would be even better...*sob*
