Test Run

Alex felt a strange sensation in his fingertips as the game screen loaded. it was so unreal, he could feel everything around him. he flicked the joystick slightly, and Pyro took a few steps forwards. Alex's mouth hung a agape as Pyro ran around in circles a few times. some people off to the side, watched him, then shouted "NOOB" to Pyro several times. Alex lifted off his goggles slightly, and looked at the user manual right beside his keyboard, and tried to figure out how to enter a dungen. He noticed a side note, that read "A good start off dungon for level one charactes is Wealthy - Medium's- Holy Ground" Alex shrugged, and slipped the goggles back on. he stepped up to the Chaos Gate, and was gone in a matter of moments.

Pyro landed in a short blast of blue light, dropping a few inches, he landed easily. Pyro looked around in first person view. it was amazing, the most realistic video game he had ever seen! Pyro took a few steps forwards, and noticed something strange, three small goblin like creatures dancing around a large chest. Pyro walked towards them, unsure of what to do.

As he approached, the goblins stopped dancing, and faced him. Pyro froze as a giant blue shell erupted all around him. with shaking thumbs, Pyro drew his sword, and began to run at the goblins.

he pressed the attack button, and felt a strange sensation in his arm. the blade swung down, and hit the goblin. Alex slammed the button several more times, setting himself up for a combo. Pyro then run around and ran away as the goblins counter attacked. Pyro breathed deeply, then ran around to the goblin furthest away. making a wide circle, he reached the goblin, and began attacking it as fast as he could. as the other goblins came rushing to it's aid, they got caught, and kept trying to run forwards, right into the goblins.

"Stupid AI!" Alex said into his microphone. he quickly beat the first goblin with his series of combos, but almost immeadtely, the second goblin, the one he had attacked first hit him over the head with his weapon. Alex exclaimed in suprise as there was a strange prickling sensation ontop of his skull. he continued to attack, run away, then attack again, until both remaining goblins were destroyed.

The blue shell disipeared quickly, leaving Alex to look around the area. he could spot several more monsters in the distances. he switched his POV to 'Over the Shoulder' and moved towards the Chest.

He opened the chest, and heard a strange gingle. it sounded like it was from the legend of zelda when you discover a secret. Alex pulled off his headset, and noticed his little sister playing Zelda. he chuckled to himself, and put his mind back into Pyro who picked a statue fragment out of the chest.
