Heading towards the barricade.

Hagoresh and Tetroneaque travelled fast towards the barricade. After some while, Hagoresh opened his eyes and stood up.
"Well then, now I'm done with resting."

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque's third eye regarded Hagoresh, then his other two eyes opened. The kitsune let out a rather large yawn as he came awake. His third eye closed to get some rest as well for the moment.

"So, we're there already then?" He asked looking around for himself. He spotted what looked like a huge wall far ahead.

"What's all that then?"

[Fission]

Before the two warriors a gigantic row of large, round timbers, bound together by steel. There is no visible entrance, and the wall reaches high into the sky, almost as high as the skyscraper that is the Elemental Tower. It stretches on seemingly infinitely to the left and right.

[Tetroneaque]

"Hmmm, it looks like it is made of wood mostly. Rather odd considering we're in a desert, wouldn't you say?" Tetroneaque stated, examining the wall from a distance.

"Stop the boat. I'd like to get a closer look at this thing. There's something very very strange about it."

[EmbraceDeath]

Hagoresh nodded and stopped. Then he jumped down on the sand and lokked around, he felt something strange around this place...

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque strode toward the massive wall. He rubbed his hand up and down one of the logs making up the barricade.

"Yes. Wood. Just as I thought. Yet where did it come from? Trees of this size just don't decorate the desert. I want to know where this much lumber came from... its just not natural."

The kitsune sniffed the air, catching the scent of fresh leaves and growth.

"How curious..." He commented, but not elaborating yet. He was sure he knew where all the lumber had come from. The other side of the wall. If his hunch was right, then there was no desert beyond the wall. Instead he imagined a lush forest or some such place.

"Where there's a wall, there's something worth protecting." He said as he continued to look for a way past the barrier.

[EmbraceDeath]

"So, got any ideas on how to get past this barricade?"
Hagoresh took his hrugas and attempted to stab a lodge, and climb up that way, but the hruga didn't even get through.
"As I though, this way is not possible."

[Tetroneaque]

"Well neither of us is going over it. Under is not going to work either, these logs go down as much as up. We can't go around it either. That leaves only one possible way. Through." The kitsune stated.

"But how to get through? This wall is obviously enchanted and probably even sturdier than it looks. Yet, there must be some sort of passage somewhere along the thing."

Tetroneaque began to move his claws along the wall, searching for a passage through the wall. By his reasoning any such passage would most likely be hidden by some sort of magical means. Luckily, kitsunes are quite adept at sniffing out magic.

[Fission]

Alas, there is no way through. The Kitsune senses a barrier about 3/4 the way up; a ward has been placed upon the wood. Also, the wood is unlike any other tree in existence to the knowledge of either adventurer, as its thick yet even bark is brown, instead of the usual thick black or thin white bark. There is no way through, but there seems to be a large forest north of where they were, visible as a bundle of white and black vertical lines.

[EmbraceDeath]

"This isn't working, how about we check out that forest over there?"
Hagoresh got up on the boat, and waited for the kitsune.

[Tetroneaque]

"Might as well. This thing is impassable for us right now." The kitsune stated.

[EmbraceDeath]

With the aid of the boat, they were soon among the lush trees.
"These trees seem to be somewhat like those of the barricade, I think".

[Tetroneaque]

"Frankyl I'm amazed that there are any trees at all in this desert. Doesn't this all seem just a bit... odd?" Tetroneaque asked, though he was glad to be around the nice scenery for a change instead of the bleak wasteland.

"Kinda nice here. It's a wonder no one has built a settlement of some sort here. If there are trees then there must be a substantial amount of water to keep them all so green. More than enough to support a town or even a city."

Tetroneaque began to think about this. It just didn't add up to him.

"That leaves only one logical conclusion. Something must keep people from wanting to build out here. Somrthing bad. Which means we might just have some fun out here after all. Heh heh heh." The kitsune let out a chuckle at the prospect.

[EmbraceDeath]

"Hagoresh" hadn't really left the real Hagoresh this time.
"You are right! Oh enemies! Where are you?! Come here and get slain!"
He laughed maniacally. Then the real hagoresh went in control.
"Damn, what is that?!"

[oleo_sidhe]

A coffin shaped, shiny black shape drifted toward them.

(Hint: It's pure magic.)

[EmbraceDeath]

"Hagoresh" laughed and jumped towards the figure and stabbed it. The stab, however, went right through, and so did "Hagoresh".
"What the?! I can't stab it?!"
