[Fission]

Hiro ran to the scene of the battle with Yrozeen, near where Aether was flowing from cracks in the ground. The ground was bulging...

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque, slightly singed from the battle, paused for a moment to catch his breath.

"Did I get him?" He asked aloud, he didn't see a corpse anywhere and he didn't recall absorbing any life essence. Of course if the fatal blow was from his new scythe he wouldn't have absorbed the fire elemental's essence. The whole thing made the kitsune a bit nervous.

"Where did that girl get to anyway?" He stuck his nose up in the air and began to sniff. It was a little difficult to pick out her scent from the other odors in the area but he managed it. He nodded to himself, confirming her scent and then ran in the direction it lead him.

He leapt from atop the pillar, striking at the side of it with his scythe as he fell. The scythe gouged out a trail as the kitsune fell, slowing his descent. He eventually came to the bottom where the girl's scent was coming from. He kicked off from the pillar and landed surprisingly lightly.

The air here burned his nose. It smelled very odd. For some reason he had lost her scent. Luckily he didn't need it anymore, as he could see her unconcious form on the ground near what he could only describe as erupting aether gysers. He moved toward her to, intending to carry her away from this dangerous area. Normally he would have simply slit her throat and drained her of her life essence, but she seemed to draw all sorts of interesting people for him to kill. He thought it in his best intrest at the moment to help her.

"Let's get you out of here." He stated.

[Fission]

The ground exploded, the Aether turning into a huge stream. From the ground, a monstrous Ryu arose, two miles in length, and large beyond comparison. The force of his eruption made Hagoresh, Tetroneaque, and Taela flying far back A dark figure could be seen atop the dragon's head, on top of a gigantic sapphire. From its jowls, huge bursts of white and golden Aether came. The ryu began to circle around where it had just emerged, in a huge, wide corkscrew.

The figure atop its head seems to be controlling it.

[oleo_sidhe]

A rock flew through the air at the figure. The dragon vaporized it, but larger ones kept flying. While unconsious, a red light surrounded Oleo, and nearby rocks were launcing themselves in the air.

[Fission]

Hiro quickly jumped on the back of the large dragon, having more than enough room to maneuver. An entire herd of Relucco could fit atop its back and still have room to move. He began running up the Ryu's back, up the curling behemoth to reach the top.

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque smiled wildly.

"Something that huge must have an insane amount of life essence!!!" The kitsune lept up to get on the beast's back. He overleapt a bit and had to swing his shield blade toward the Ryu, digging the blade into it to get a grip. He felt a trickle of it's life essence enter him. But this tiny scratch would probably take a thousand years for him to drain all the Ryu life essence through. No, if he wanted it all he'd have to give it a fatal wound.

The kitsune pulled himself totally onto the back of the beast and got his balance.

"I bet if I totally cut it's head off that would do the trick." He stated, thinking out loud.

With that he began to sprint up the massive beast's back, occasionally striking his blades into its back. He could only inflict tiny pin prick like wounds, but he liked the feeling of this thing's life essence. He didn't dawdle long though, he wanted to kill this thing before anyone else had a chance. He dropped to all fours and began to sprint like that, he actually overtook the others already on it's back as he made a mad dash up.

[Fission]

A bright flash of red and black light came from atop the Ryu's head, a magic cast by the figure riding its sapphire crest. A smaller black ryu came from it, an ungodly bloodlust in its eyes. It came down with lightning speed, as did the two that followed it, and attacked Hiro as the other two attacked Tetroneaque.

Hiro jumped up and landed on the small dragon's head and spun to his left, using his right foot to scissor its neck. The ryu fell down upon the behemoth-size dragon, either paralyzed or dead, and Hiro continued to run up the large one's back.

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque feigned toward the right. The first dragon took the bait and flew that way. Tetroneaque quickly pushed off the balls of his feet toward the left. He grabbed the dragon around the neck as it flew past. He stabbed it through the bottom jaw and up into it's brain. He felt it's life leave it, savoring the feeling.

He removed his blade before it fell, using it as a stepping stone to spring from toward the second dragon.

This dragon though saw how the kitsune ended it's comrade and was a bit more ready. As Tetroneauqe closed in it managed to strike forward like a massive snake. The kitsune barely managed to get his shields up in time to block the attack. His shields were actually stuck in the mouth of the second dragon!

This was a mistake for the ryu, since the edges of his shields were honed to a razor like edge and spikes adorned their surface. It writhed in pain, stuck on the shields. Its squirming only serving to inflict worse wounds. Tetroneaque however had to hold on for the ride, finding it hard to get his weapons free from the beast's mouth.

"Let go you bastard!" He yelled as he pulled backwards on them. He fell backward on his rear as a loud cracking sound was heard. Many of the ryu's teeth were broken and shattered, its mouth a bloody ruin.

Tetroneaque got up quickly and sprang forward seeing his chance. His blade extended from one shield and he cleaved the second ryu's head down the middle. The two halves hung to either side as the beast collapsed in a bloody heap.

The kitsune enjoyed a brief moment as the sweet feeling of life essence left the ryu and entered himself. He was feeling totally refreshed now having absorbed both of the ryu's life essence.

"Feel free to send some more of those my way! I'm feeling even friskier than ever!" He said with a laugh. He continued on his way up, slightly more wary of surprise attacks.

[Fission]

[[[This running thing is going to keep happening until Oleo gets up there. Try to drag things out, as that last post contained a lot of autohits.]]]

The gigantic dragon gave a roar, creating shockwaves that nearly flung the kitsune and Hiro off the sides. It kicked up a huge sandstorm in the direction it did. An maniacal voice echoed from the figure on its head.

"That's right, you lowly beast, scream in pain! You can not fight your very creators, the lords of Makai! Eclipse Dragon, you are now mine to control, and we will destroy all of the fools who stand in my way!" The Eclipse Dragon gave another, though somewhat softer roar and kept flying upwards in a corkscrew as Hiro kept running.

Hiro spun his sword and then slashed downwards, the Hellblade creating a powerful updraft that flung Hiro high up, landing on the next section of the Ryu. The updraft stayed there for a while, leaving an opportunity for Tetroneaque to get up faster.

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque was not one to miss such an oppurtunity. He used the updraft to get up a little higher, just a little faster. He landed next to Hiro.

"Oh hello." He said in a cheerful tone.

[Fission]

Hiro simply looked back, his face its normal emotionless state. Without an answer, he kept running up the back of the Eclipse Dragon.

[Tetroneaque]

"Such a jolly, chatty race." Tetroneaque said with obvious sarcasm. He continued up the dragon's back, keeping pace with Hiro.

[Fission]

Hiro kept running up the Eclipse Dragon's back. Eventuall the two came upon the crest of the might Ryu, five huge, twisted spikes coming from the back of its head. Hiro created another boost of wind to get himself atop it, and he got his balance, facing down the powerful being that had the strength to control this titanic creature.

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque leapt at one spike, then used it to boost off from toward another. He kept this back and forth rythem up until he was up top. He landed lightly next to Hiro.

"You can't leave me behind that easily." The kitsune stated. He then readied himself to face the being controlling the massive dragon. He took his scythe in between his fangs, having become comfortable with this new fighting style. He let both blades extend from his shields.

He then let out a low growl toward the being standing atop the sapphire crest.

[Fission]

A man's voice came from the crest, which echoed, them now being so high in the air and the distance between them still long.

"Well, you made it up here. Hellweapons... this is going to be interesting."

The man was revealed. His face had a crazed look, and his white hair went down past his shoulders. His clothes were mostly shredded, and his left arm... his left arm was a twisted horror. Black spikes, some with barbs, wound around his arm in a tangled mess of death. His red eyes seemed to stare, crazed, into their target's soul. What was once human, no longer was.

"I am Rain Gen, and I have been sent here by my masters, the lords of Makai, to destroy all of you filthy Gamitarans. I know who you are, just by looking at you. I can read your thoughts, your very being, your-" He stopped as he looked at Hiro. A look of terror passed his face, something spooked him greatly.

"A.... Another son of Gamira!" A red energy seemed to gather around him.

"You, Hiro Takari, will pay for your ancestor's actions!" In a blinding flash of speed, he had grabbed Hiro with his right hand, flung him across the 20 foot distance to the middle of the sapphire, and had his left foot on Hiro's stomach ready to plunge his twisted left arm into Hiro's body. Hiro glared at the Daemon, and seemed to be able to bend light... Hiro was the second Elemental of light in history. Light flooded Rain's high-powered eyes, blinding him. His thoughts were linked to the Eclipse Dragon's. The Ryu began to spun around faster, and a tornado of sand erupted from the force and speed the Ryu was doing it with. The sand-filled cyclone was violent, giving a clear signal to the Elementals that something was amiss. Hiro jumped up, and spun his Hellblade once before unleashing an Aether Bladewave at Rain, who absorbed it with his twisted arm.

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque calmly made his way around the area. He wasn't about to just jump into this fight. No. He was going to wait for the opportune moment to strike.

He jumped around on all fours like some kind of deranged wild animal. He needed to get in a good position to attack from. Preferably from the side or rear. He wanted to make one quick strike.

It's been awhile since I drained a daemon of it's life essence. They're always so abundantly powerful, and this one seems even more powerful than usual. Should make for quite a meal.

The kitsune would have licked his chomps in anticipation, except he held his scythe's handle securely in his jaws. He leapt about, even though it seemed this opponet hadn't taken a real notice of the kitsune. Instead this Rain guy was rambling on about the Gamiitarans.

I'll teach him to so easily dismiss a kitsune... it'll be the last lesson he ever learns.

He finally reached a good vantage point. Now he just needed the proper distraction before he could pounce.

[Fission]

Contrary to Tetroneaque's thoughts, Rain had been payng attention. The black spikes flashed with the energy they had just absorbed, and the maniac took his other hand and summoned 5 more smaller Ryus, which began to attack Tetroneaque. The tornado of sand was creating turbulence that was causing difficulty fighting on the sapphire crest.

Hiro spun his Hellblade again, the magnificent blade whistling. He burst forth in a sprint. Besides the battle, Rain's comment of him being a son of Gamira were bothering Hiro. What did that mean... Hiro slashed at Rain, who blocked it. Rain spun to his right, then delivering a backhand attack against Hiro, who ducked and dropped his Hellblade, coming up underneath Rain's arms with a hold. Silver spikes on Rain's back almost cut him, if not for Hiro's armor. Rain began to manipulate the wind, power Daemon magics at work. Hiro was sent flying back, but caught his balance on one hand, his heavy armor bearing down on his fingertips. Hiro fell down slowly, flipping onto his feet. His weapon had spun on the ground over near the side of the sapphire, near Tetroneaque. Such a powerful weapon the Hellblade was...

[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque ducked as the new opponets came flying at him, letting them all pass over him. He knew it wouldn't take long for them to turn around and attack again.
He was about to spring back up to his feet when something caught his eye. The Hellblade. It seemed to call to him like his own scythe, but somehow more so. It was the same strange sense of yearning.

I'll just borrow this for now... He thought to himself. He spit out his scythe, and caught it in his left hand. He tossed it behind him and caught it with his center tail. He was actually using his tails to weild his scythe!

He quickly snatched up the Hellblade, setting it in his mouth. He thought for a moment, wondering just how many weapons he might be able to weild at one time. The thought passed though as the loud shriek of the attacking ryu's cut through the air.

He saw them coming at him again. He leapt into the air and spun like a corkscrew. His arms extended toward the sides, blades out. The Hellblade clutched between his teeth, the scythe held by his surprisingly powerful tails. He looked very much like a swirling tornado of bladed death. He was poised to strike at the front most ryu. The sandstorm only helped to make him spin faster and stay airborne longer.

[Fission]

[[[Eww... Kitsune slobber...]]]

The sharp edges of all the weapons ripped the Ryu into shreds. The other four began to circle around Tetroneaque, ready to strike.

In a blast of agility, Rain tried to stab Hiro with his twisted spikes. Hiro quickly sidestepped to his left, then punching Rain hard in the left shoulder on the clavicle, shattering the vital bone. Rain backed up, from the sheer force Hiro put into the punch and his bone being broken. The force also managed to burst some blood vessels in Rain's throat, and he coughed up some blood.

"You are very strong... ugh... to have done that in a single punch. But without your weapon you are still nothing, foolish Gamitaran!" Rain created a fireball that flew at Hiro, who easily rolled to the side, out of its path. When he got up, he decided to try and use more of his unusual Elemental power. He concentrated on removing all of the light from around his arm. Suddenly, a near-black purple smoke appeared around his left hand and forearm. He had created pure darkness essence... powerful against even those who use it. Hiro dashed forward, dodging another fireball and delivering the powerful darkness in an uppercut, which killed the skin and muscle of Rain's jaw and sent him flying near the brow of the Eclipse Dragon. As Rain got up, he could barely talk.

"You bastard! I'll... get you... for this!!!" His mighty scream echoed.

[Tetroneaque]

Ohhhh, this weapon is nice. I wonder if it has any interesting abilities like my scythe... As he finished the thought he landed from his spin. He swung around quickly making a slashing motion with the Hellblade in his mouth. He activated the bladeweave technique, sending the burst of energy at a nearby ryu.

He was a bit surprised at this but kept the blade tight in his jaws.
