Kidnapped.

The Story:
Tim, a 17 year old boy was kidnapped by a gang, called The Kidnappers, for a ransom of $ 1,000,000. And unfortunately for the gang, he knew how to use a gun! He was kept behind bars, and was looked after by a guard who paces up and down near the bars. Once, the guard came really near, and when he turned around, he got a big powerful punch in his face with all the strength the boy could muster! The guard fell down, unconscious. Tim reached for the keys from the guard’s pocket and unlocked himself. He took the guard’s gun and then the game begins……..

Press F1 to see the menu ingame.

There will be many features, the ones included already are:-

Fog
Gun Recoil
Key Cards and Doors
A good working Radar
Running (with shift)
An Alpha Mapped Crosshair
Perfect Lighting System (no shadows though!)
Walk bounce. (bounce up and down while walking)
Enemies with pathfinding. (REAL 3D models, not just stupid flat sprites)
Blood Sprays out of the enemies when they die.
Help Messages. (so for example, you reach a certain place, and it gives you a message.)
Precise Shot Checking. (shoot in between someone's legs, he doesn't get hit, but on his head, he does)
A good pause menu.
Better AI for the Enemies (they open the door once near one and close it behind them)
Better doors (they close back after being opened)
Zooming.
Even better AI. (they run to you when they see you)

And ones I want to add are:-

3D Sound ( with panning )
Good AI
A very good HUD
A good menu
<add any suggestion here>

So, please give me some suggestions, and I promise you, you are going to see a very nice game in another month or two wink.gif .

What do you mean by shite? Do you mean its to greenish? Or stupid?
I think its to greenish so I'm gonna make it a little more gray (or grey whatever).

I won't be uploading a demo soon, because I have a dial-up connection and its 5 Mb size. I know I can upload it, but I'm getting a 2 Mbps connection next week or so. So you can expect the demo soon wink.gif .

And about the Distance thing in the HUD, it actually shows the distance from the camera of a collision ray's collision point with the level or map. Actually, I'll be using it for shooting, by checking if the distance to the enemy model is less than whatever it is to the map model. So, if you shoot between an enemy's legs, he doesn't get hit!

It must be a revolver, not a very heavy or big one though. Instead of a model, can you give me a first person view sprite, with the background as green? The green must be in RGB --> 0,128,64

A relationship is not an F-14 Tomcat. It doesn't cost as much, isn't as cool, and you can't kill people with it. So in situations where you'd try and save the F-14, such as an engine failure, or a funny warning light, or odd feeling, in the same situation in a relationship you should grab that yellow and black handle and pull like hell.

Impressive. Do you make your own textures?
The guns could use a better texture themselves, maybe a more metallic one? I'd like to see the finished product. Looks pretty good. You know, out of all those GM forums out there, I bet we pull out the most impressive stuff. They should hold a GM forum awards thing. That way, we'd kick ass and be recognized more. Maybe Mark Himself will join?

OMG its REMOVED!

If your game is in Irrlicht, you can even use the model ingame, it has a fairly low polycount (812).

If you want this picture removed (that is, so noone can use it), just say so smile.gif
